  1. But but but, there’s a SIGN! It SAYS “Gun Free Zone!” A sign. Isn’t that good enough? I, I don’t understand…

  2. If gun control doesn’t work, then we must need even MORE gun control...right.

Using gun control to stop gun violence is like asking a woman to marry you by punching her in the face.  If she says no, then try punching her harder...eventually she has to say yes.

  3. We (those of us who have brains and use them) know that the whole gun ban is a scam to take guns from the law abiding and thereby make them defenseless when they politicos attempt to take over America and turn it into a socialist paradise.

Police here tased a guy who then died. Of course the two top hits of the whinning left are being screamed from the rooftops (racism and over violent police). . .Not a mention that our said dead criminal was attacking his girlfriend with a knife, that he jumped out a window to flee the police nor that anything (criminal record, health history and or drug use) or even the biggy - actual cause of death - have not been mentioned nor even known as it is just yesterday (3AM).

And once again the criminal becomes more important than the crime, more important than the victim and most importantly more important than society.

    What a crock.

  4. Machines do not make ethical decisions, people do.

Forgetting pretty philosophies, Great Britain is an island and they have virtually banned all firearms, yet the smugglers are getting rich bringing black market weapons in.  That is practical reality.  When you ban an important item, the only real effect is to make rich smugglers.

  5. Funny how the criminals seem to know where the resistance is slight.... No guns in the hands of law abiding citizens is like shooting fish in a barrel.

Texas gun laws should be enacted across the country, CCW should be granted to those that can pass gun safety tests, and have no felony convictions.

The gun grabbers want to remove guns from Law abiding folks so that they can feel safe, I feel VERY safe because I have the means to defend myself from those that would not follow the Gun laws.

    Great Post.

  7. You know that not one of those shootings mentions anything about handguns (nor anything about suspects being arrested, more’s the pity) so you can’t say all those shootings were done with pistols. My bet is that most of them were done using 50 caliber automatic assault rifles, possibly fired FROM airliners more than a mile away.

    Personally I blame Bush!!!!

  8. As Dr. Jeff rightly points out banning guns has done very little to reduce gun crime. In fact I would argue the opposite. Guns are easy to obtain illegally. This is an example of what happens increasingly on British streets.

  9. I’ve done quite a bit of reading of what the Founding Fathers wrote. As far as I can figure it, the idea is that we’re supposed to go about armed. All the time. Each and every one of us. It’s practically your duty as an American citizen. (Remember that old SNL skit/film clip called “Show us your guns”?)
