Greenies are annoying us because that’s what they do

 

1. 8 out of 10 bottles end up in landfills rather than getting recycled.... what does that tell you?

   What it tells me is that while *individuals* and *corporations* are often accepting responsibility (and often being held accountable) for recycling waste plastics, governments apparently are not. I guess we should all start carrying garbage bags around with us, because if we use a curbside garbage can or one in a park somewhere, it’ll just go into a landfill rather than being recycled like they expect the REST of us to do.

   As usual, the Left sees government as the solution, when a little thought shows that government is MOST OF THE PROBLEM. Sheesh.

2. Side issue;

   my understanding was that the major reason glass bottles vanished is that it’s awfully hard to cut yourself on fragments of a plastic one. Glass soda bottles, especially, could explode if mishandled by an idiot - and even idiots can hire lawyers.
