Global Warming Update

 

Don’t worry about this. Obama will take as much of your tax money as he wants to “solve” this “problem”. But don’t expect India, China, or any other part of the developing world to do a damn thing in terms of reducing their heat and CO₂ emissions. They’re too busy trying to make money to feed themselves and stay warm.

1. Would somebody PLEASE make these idiots STFU?!?!?!?!?!!?? I don’t care how it’s done. Show them the truth from the satellite photos, show them the ACTUAL NASA graphs, I don’t care what needs be done. If they don’t want to realize the scientific proof, well, whatever must be done to shut them up. *AHEM*

2. Have you guys forgotten and started confusing fact with reality?  Whether or not global warming is going on is actually irrelevant.  The mass of the people believe what their leaders have told them (including the leaders in the scientific community who were threatened into conformance) and will let the leaders do what they may.  Just as the actual facts about firearms have no effect on public belief, neither do the facts of global warming change anything.

   No one cares that the states already have the right to regulate tail pipe emissions.  No one cares that most of the world isn’t regulated by Kyoto.  No one cares that Kyoto may be the final nail in the coffin of American industry.  Just as when the press says that gun laws are too lax or there really aren’t any gun laws, people just nod yes and ask daddy to make the bad thing go away.  Critical thinking is disappearing.
   Just as in the early stages of any dictatorship, the masses want “The Leader” (in German, Der Fuehrer ) to tell them what to do and think.  They believe that by giving up freedom of thought and action, they will be protecting themselves.  In this case, it’s especially disgusting in that the masses think that they will actually be extending the range of their freedom, while roping themselves in tightly. 

   I’m going to beat one of my favorite drums again.  The Neo Fascists (Liberals/Progressives), are taking our society and stratifying it into a three layered hierarchy, with the Neo Fascists at the top.  On the bottom, you have the permanently welfare bound, beholden to the state.  Next, you have what’s left of the middle class, working their asses off (except for the unions) to keep from falling and mostly ignoring everything else, following their leaders.  At the top, you have the rich and powerful, led by Obama, Pelosi, Feinstein, Gore, etc.  The rich and powerful gain more wealth and power, while the rest of us descend to the level of peons.  Odd thought, considering the number of bankruptcies involved with the mortgage meltdown, do you think someone figured it would be a good way to accelerate the process?

   There have always been rich and powerful people.  While previously, you could move from one level of society to another with work and luck, the new system will weigh down the individual entrepreneur and solidify the caste structure.  The press (like ‘em or not) is no longer working as a watchdog, but the propaganda arm of the government.  This isn’t limited just to those who supported the winning candidate, it seems to be nearly universal.
