Great video. Amazing kid - and proves that so much of what liberals do - never, ever turns out to work correctly or even close to the intended - in real life.
As a kid with food allergies on the edge of puberty, I tracked what was in school lunches for more than a year. There was never a meal that did not have potato or tomato in it. Not even once.
I was merely aware of ingredients in those days. Today, I’d look at that menu and be shocked at how carb heavy, protein light it was. Starches in sugary sauce, small amounts of mystery meat, and a near absence of vegetables. Fruit cup and applesauce, mostly.
OTOH, they knew what kids would eat, and never tried to do some stupid Jamie Oliver nonsense to get them to eat Brussels Sprouts. Yuck. So there was less waste food. But ... the horrible nightmare is sometimes still with me ... Middle School cafeteria Salisbury Steak!
Christopher, what makes you think liberals intend good? I do not believe the world has that many people with an IQ below 40 so the harm must be intended!
The lunches I had in elementary school were made daily from scratch and were really good.
Simple fare, but tasty and filling. The crap in this video should be considered child abuse. So should Common Core. Liberals shouldn’t be allowed near kids at all It’s too risky and they are too screwed up in the head to be feeding children, teaching children, or even be in the same room with children.
The video is incredible, and fun to watch too. Future conservative there I’d say.
The thing that surprised me the most? A fourth-grader has three cellphones?
I agree grayjohn. Common Core sucks. I’m still trying to find where in Article One, Section Eight (Enumerated Powers clause) Congress and the Fed are given any oversight of education. I graduated in 1978; there was no Department of Education. Jimmy Carter created it in 1979 for the teacher’s unions. It’s completely unConstitutional.
Not that being unConstitutional has ever stopped anyone in Government from doing anything.
Their attitude of “well, if it’s so bad, SCOTUS will rule on it ... someday” is a total moral abrogation, an abhorrence that should cost them their liberty, if not their lives.
I know what the definition of “is” is, and it doesn’t change from me to you. And at this point, yes, it still makes a difference.
