Geography Test

 

1. Ok it’s Saturday AM - Yesterday, I missed my turn (I swear the area around my son’s Doctors office is like a magnet for white-out blizzard conditions) so I had to go straight instead of turning left to get back on the highway. I then was almost in a fender bender when (on the steepest point of the downhill) - someone 2 cars ahead wanted to turn left (and though NO cars were coming) stopped dead. The person behind swerved into the curb lane and the next one and I started to slam on the brakes but as soon as that wonderful - oh shit wiggle and slide started - let up. Fortunately since it had just started snowing - traction came back almost instantly. Highway was fine driving. Longish story to say I’m in a bad mood already (and yes - we did get the 2+ inches they predicted) - so what are the two mistakes? Spelling? What am I missing? Inquiring minds want to know. Or are simply bored to death in Obama’s America.

2. Let’s just say that if you look closely, you’ll know that Obama may have made this map.

   Remember how back in grade school you had that time filler assignment, where you had to put the name of the state on each one on the map? (More advanced kids also had to put in the state capitals and that city’s approximate location)

   So now’s your chance to finally use that knowledge and name all 50 ... 57 ... 49 states.
