Gas Wars

 

1. Well I’m hardly ecstatic as you can imagine! What made me smile was all the morons who filled up their tanks when there was a threat of a protest. So much extra consumption that many of the gas stations ran out. No need to have a fuel protest when a mere threat will do.

   The price of fuel is outrageous here, but someones got to pay for all the welfare deadbeats. Even more galling is diesel costs more than petrol??? They claim it’s because there is increased demand now that more people own oil burners. What puzzles me is the difference of petrol and diesel in Europe. They are even more socialist than Britain, yet invariably the price is lower on the continent than in Britain. Most likely they are taxed more heavily elsewhere.
