4. Sorry for the delay in chiming in. And honestly P, I agree. This is inane.

   What’s worse is the actual origins of the story. Like most of the stuff that comes to us from the Brothers Grimm, Snow White was originally this old Germanic/Nordic myth cum fairy tale, and in that mythology “Dwarves” means something VERY different from “undersized human.”

   The Dwarves that pop up in the Snow White story from the Grimm are something like halfway between that and the Dwarves of either Tolkein or real life. And in most adaptations they’re usually more “humanized” than they already were in the Grimm version.

   But the fact remains: they’re magical beings and craftsmen who are *decidedly Not* humans. And may not have even been small in the (probably lost) original material.

   Which just makes the PC Police even more stupid.
