FOUND … a fragment of family history. It’s 1892, and Queen Victoria is still on the throne.

  1. Such finds are priceless for keeping a family history. Make sure to preserve all documents for posterity. Somebody is going to write a history using such finds.

I could use some clarification: ‘The mil’? What’s a ‘mil’? My best guess is Mother-In-Law?

I thought the military was bad for using acronyms. But you Brits use them for family?

    crazy

  2. MIL is Mother in Law but not a Brit expression that I know of as I found it in USA. And it’s much easier to write mil then the whole term.
