Fool Me Twice, Shame On ME

 

1. Two things are missing.

   1.  Get our southern border closed

   2.  End all support to the Useless Nations and kick them out of the US.

2. I agree John.. I still like the idea of using our ‘undocumented population’ to build a wall before we kick their asses back into Mexico.
   As for that useless pack of over-privileged group of third world leeches and second world make-jobs and first world do-nothings that make up the UN? Put the headquarters in Africa.. That seems to be where a disproportionate amount of their aid and money go. Maybe Somalia? They could get a first person look at this wonderland, say in Mogadishu?

   I also would like to see the promise of a reduction in government jobs from the lowest echelons up to the White House, including cabinets, aides, EVERYTHING. The only way to make a new department is through an 80% vote of both houses. Same with making new “Czars”.
   How much are they paying for these no oversight sacks of power mongering pieces of slime?

   Term limits! My god, how ‘in touch with the people’ can ANYONE be when they spend more of their time in Washington than at home? When they are at home, they spend most of their times locked up in their offices or at home or fund raising for their next grab at power. Even if they have to, say, take 2 terms on and 2 terms off before they can run or serve in ANY office again, that would be an improvement. None of this ‘Senator Porklicker lost his seat and now will be the pothole czar while he is actually running around beating the drums for his reelection bull. If they were ‘beloved’ enough to be remembered after 6 or 8 years, they should have no problem getting back in.

   Bah.. just a couple of ideas..
   I don’t think there is any way any politician would dump their gravy train voluntarily, especially with all the perks they get.
   Oh, and while I am at it.. how about a rewriting of the way their ‘perks’ work?

   Just a bunch of growling..

3. Y’all said it so well, I don’t have anything to add. Just chiming in on that “Don’t fuck it up and become just another DCer” statement. This time you WILL be held to account for your actions. America has had enough of this status quo politician shit to last us several generations.

5. Jeesh guys ... you have said it all and said it very well. Which leaves me with almost nothing to add except ...  some reporters (Brit) are covering the Tea Party more and more here and sounding an alarm to Republicans to wise up and pay attention.  General feeling being that some haven’t taken the Tea Party serious enough and a few it appears are now beginning to wake up. Then the question asked is, have they opened their eyes too late?  A sudden turnaround by Republicans won’t they claim, fool the right wing and will be seen as politicians trying to save their seats in office.  Hence the newer ppl being promoted and supported by the Tea Party.  Predictions are for Tea Party candidates to do very well.
   One writer lamented that there wasn’t a real chance for the same to work here in the UK.

6. On taxation - if these morons (actually self-serving greedy lying b*stards) won’t work to repeal the 16th Amendment - what is not fair and just about a simple across the board percentage (I vote for 10% since it’s good enough for God)- the form would be simple - your income X 10% that is what you owe for the year. The amount of course (for those of us who passed basic mathematics) goes up as the income earned goes up. No loopholes, deductions and scams for those who can hire tax lawyers to figure out the complicated tax code. Everyone could understand it and do it. Simple, but more importantly fair and just to all American citizens. A corollary to this - if you want to live & work in America but not become American - well 20% will be taken off the top to insure that if you receive and/or illegally obtain any benefits and social services - that they will be paid for.

   See a win-win can be done, and come up with in a brief, understandable statement.

   I don’t see this (their stupid contract - never forget Newt didn’t do it all either) flying with our current GOP - but perhaps the utter insanity of the past 19 months did wake them up. We shall see.

   Remember in NOvember - Take Back America.

7. Momma, thanks for reminding about the taxes.. 10% should be good enough for everyone, including the government. Take it off at the cash register and make it easier. Let the state and US figure out the split.
