  1. Time enough for love, WONDERFUL book, use the quotes from the notebooks of Lazarus Long quite a bit.

The other book would be Starship troopers, and NO, not the movie.....

The bible, studied it quite a bit, won’t tell you what happened with that..

There are a few books out there that have effected me, but the 1st one you put, has to be the main one.

  2. I like Starship Troopers. It just shows Heinlein’s libertarian politics. You didn’t get to vote unless you had put your life on the line for the country. But you did get to pay taxes…

The other thing I liked about Starship Troopers was was that Civics was a required class in High School…

  3. Civics?

“History and Moral Philosophy” was the class…

Speaking of, tonight was my last class of “Western Civilization” at college…

THAT class should be called “History and Liberal Philosophy”

    than ANY bible.....MANINFULL

  5. Lord of the Rings is a single book. The original publisher divided in into three volumes because it is a long book, and Tolkien wasn’t finished yet. Subsequent publishers (starting with the Ace Books pirated edition) retained the three book format.

BTW, the novel itself is divided into 6 books, each a complete story in and of itself. With each subsequent book building on the book before it.
