  1. SHAI DORSAI!!

Always thought it was stupid to ignore 50% of the talent pool!!  Glad to see that she sees herself as a soldier first!!!

Hope she intinidates the hell out of the Ragheads and is an example to Moslem women as to what is possible in this world.

  2. On one hand we have Sgt. Leigh Ann Hester of Nashville, Tenn. On the other Senator “LimpDick” Durban of Ill. Can you pick the patriot and hero?

  3. Not to mention Representative “Cut-and-Run” Jones from NC.  What an abomination and a disgrace!

  4. I remembered reading about this over at Blackfive.

Go. Read. There are also links to video and news reports.

  5. That’s nice. I STILL don’t believe that women should be in combat.
*Before you start in on me Phoenix-I came thisclose to graduating from USMC bootcamp. I am anything BUT a dominated little female.*

  6. ALT is right.  Women shouldn’t be in combat, but, you know, when the shit hits the fan, it’s good to know that they can hold their own with a rifle!

If you’re a muslim, do you go to heaven if you’re wasted by a chick?

I didn’t know what an M4 is - it’s shortened M16 in carbine format.  Those lil’ 5,56mm bullets can do some harm - you wouldn’t know it from looking at the cartrige - it’s so small.  I have an “M15” (’slike a AR-15).  Pleasure to shoot.

  7. "She is a healthy female of breeding age,” as Arnold Schwarzenegger said in Terminator 3.

  8. >If you’re a muslim, do you go to heaven if you’re wasted by a chick? <

Laughed out loud!  ‘..wasted by a chick?’

    oh, man.....  The ultimate humiliation.

  9. >It really doesn’t have anything to do with being a female. It’s about the duties I performed that day as a soldier.”<

This makes me very proud.  What a military we have.  We can’t honor them enough.

Barb, I have no idea where you’re coming from.  If you insist on taking everything I say personally, there is no way we can have any kind of rapport.  Lighten up a little because I have nothing against you, and I respect your opinions.

  11. If you’re a muslim, do you go to heaven if you’re wasted by a chick?

Couldn’t say.  But I suspect that they would have to make do with somewhat used virgins and distinctly second-rate hashish.

Incompetence has a price, after all.

    LOL

  12. I have an interest in the US Navy, Destroyers and Submarines are of particular interest to me.

I saw a blurb about a new Destroyer being commissioned a while ago. I went to the site and looking around I saw that the Commanding Officer is a woman. I was caught somewhere between shock and surprise.

It turns out that she was not the first to take a warship to sea though. That honor belongs to Captain Kathleen McGrath who commanded USS Jarrett in the Persian Gulf in 1998.

Women don’t serve on submarines, yet. I think that’s the only sea duty they can’t get. They’re already flying combat missions off of carriers.

The Army isn’t allowed to have women in the infantry and some other “pure combat” jobs. This is so much hooey. In Iraq there are no non combat roles. Everybody is under fire.

The MPs are considered as support troops and can therefore have women in their ranks. This MP sergeant commanded her force in escorting that convoy and did an exemplary job in doing so. Unfortunately she’s not qualified for the CIB due to her specialty. I’d say she earned it.

While I’m not personally comfortable with the thought of women in combat, I’ll put that down to my own upbringing and a possibly outmoded set of thoughts.

Women are getting more choices, although why they choose to do some of these things is beyond my ken. Nevertheless they get the choice. If they are capable and qualify then they shouldn’t be denied.

Lots of things are changing. We don’t have to like them but we do have to accept them.

  13. Tanny,

“..somewhat used virgins.” ?  HA HA HA.  Oh, you made me die laughing.  Is a somewhat used virgin one who has tried to self-rejuvenate her maidenhead with endless Kegel exercises?

    Oh, hahahaha.....

How about if they’re wasted by a chick, they’re met by the Queer Eyes for the Straight Guys crew.

  14. Suits me, Phoenix, as long as they get wasted.  I’m not one to quibble over details in such a case.

    wink
