Feat Of Clay

But you promised us a story we’d get a rise out of !!!

Well, I delivered. The number one thing cooked in a tandoor is naan bread. Here’s a recipe. It’s made with yeast, so the bread ... rises. Nyuk nyuk nyuk nyuk.

At least I didn’t recast the tale as a story about a guy who made a lot of bread making a lot of bread. That would be too trite even for me.

Has Ron Levy gone back to making artistic clay pots now that his fortune is made? Who can say? It’s one of those embellishments. Maybe he’s taking that nice income and using the money to pay for medical school, so his mother will finally be happy. “What happens next” isn’t part of this story, it’s part of the next story, so feel free to write that part yourself.

  1. Truly a story of the American success path. Good for him and all those he employes and those who enjoy his product!

BTW, NSF is National Sanitation Foundation; had a lot of those little blue stickers on things at my Baltimore restaurant yo so many years ago.
