2. Well thanks! The two of us are doing fine, and it looks like her mother’s condition is at least stable, even if they can’t quite figure out yet exactly what it is. We try to look on the bright side: the rapid weight loss she’s suffered from the ascites has made it much easier for her to hobble around with her worn out knees. But there isn’t much that can be done about cirrhosis as far as I know, although it’s usually a slow killer. I guess at this point the trips to the doctors are to find out where on the downward spiral she is.
