   OMIGOD! What would they call me? I used to kill chickens by twisting their necks. Then we’d cut the head off and drain the blood before plucking. You did it that way because:

   a) ever try to get a chicken to hold still for the axe?

   b) if you succeed, then they do have a disturbing habit of running around headless for a bit. We tried it once.

5. Re. the Bush comment. Sorry to say the libtards aren’t through with him over here. His book is now out as you may know, and all the reviewers I’ve read so far who I didn’t think of as left leaning, sure seem that way now. So Bush is again being raked over the coals for all the old reasons. Especially by the left. War crimes,war monger, racist, yadda,blah,blah. Jeeze I really hate those ppl.

6. Unless you are a vegetarian, you can’t really say much about the killing of your food.

   umm - that doesn’t even hold with that in a way (eggs are a living thing and some plants die after you harvest from them). . .

   I grew up fishing, eating venison and lots and lots of different kinds of seafood. Watched the cats chase the lobsters around just before they took a boiling water eternal nap. Learned early (and for most of my childhood carried my own pocket knife) how to kill and clean fish.

   The reactions (beating heart, running around without a head) are proof that the animal kingdom are lesser beings than humans - that they run on a whole different system than the heart/brain. Is it cruel - why - they do the same thing to each other - a bite and then eat em up. We humans at least look at the fastest and most humane way to kill them.

   What gets me about Sarah Palin is how she can do it all - 4 kids still at home, exercising above and beyond and then going out and doing things like mountain climbing and deep sea fishing - this woman (and her family) are survivors and if the Leftists think that their petty little snipping of lies against her or G W Bush are going to do a damn thing - they do not have a real clue as to what makes a survivor.

   Take away their income, their homes, their jobs - and guess what - they’d get up the next morning - go out and kill something, find a stream for water, and survive.

   The morons on the Left are scared to death of them because they showed and continue to show - that a person does not need DC to not only survive but flourish. And the Left despises Glenn Beck for reminding Americans that it only took 56 fearless men willing to risk it all to bring about America. Survivors, rugged Individuals willing to do something. That is all it takes to make America thrive and survive.

   And that is what America used to be made of - I still think that the majority of Americans may not be as hardy as Sarah Palin - but are not sitting around holding their hands out for Uncle Obama.
