  3. lived for 10 years diagonally across the intersection from there in another high-rise. there is yet another WIDE high-rise directly across the street from it, blocking direct access from the north.  it took real work to get a plane to hit that point on that building.  if that was nothing but pure accident, it was a real whopper.

  4. That is why i thought it was a helicopter greenie.

  5. Does anyone know if Lidle had a girlfriend, ex-wife, or enemy in that building? I’m not prone to conspiracy theories personally but if what Greenie says is true there might have been a target in Lidle’s mind. Then again, maybe he just got fed up with Steinbrenner and decided to go out with a bang. It’ll be some time before we get all the facts on this weirdness.

    question

  6. If this was intentional, how incredibly selfish to kill the innocent people in that builidng, as well as destroy their homes.

  8. Reports now suggest that this was a tragic accident.  His wife and child are on a commercial flight and may not even know.

My deepest sympathy to those who mourn.

  9. Mine too, Goddess.

By the way, I caught the 4-to-5 hour on Fox News.  Charlie Rangel was among those who were interviewed, and naturally he got in his usual cheap shot at BushCo.  Naturally.

    The scumbags never shut up.

    shut eye

  10. The White Ensign today Bulldog? Doing a bit of “naval” gazing perhaps? Or just a counterpoint to Tann’s Kriegsflagge?

  11. It looks good to me, Drew.  I’ll always salute the White Ensign, even if I do fly the Kriegsflagge.

    wink

  12. Apparently he was in his aircraft with a female flight instructor. He had only 95 hours of logged flight time, so was still basically a noob rookie. I’d give 99.94% odds that it was simply an unfortunate aviation accident. Np BushitlerCo, no conspiracy theories, no mob hits, no suicides, etc. The flight originated in Teterboro NJ, and was about 15 minutes’ duration. It is said by aviators that the most “dangerous” period in a new pilot’s life is around the 200 hour timeframe. Then they have too much confidence and testosterone for their own good, and that is the time that most egregiously stupid mistakes and miscalculations happen.

  13. that was one heckuva thread-the-needle ‘miscalculation’, furchissake!

that plane was equipped with a parachute.

why would they crank it hard-to-port into an apartment building?
