Everything that I have seen leads me to believe that he is 80% in the pocket of CAIR, and 20% in the pocket of the Nation of Islam fringe. He is a token and a shill.
Lowe’s has every right to sponsor or stop sponsoring whatever television shows they wish. And they have every right to stop such sponsorship FOR ANY REASON, or no reason at all. To the best of my knowledge, which is slight on this story, Lowe’s did NOT say “we’re canceling the ads because we hate Muslims.”, or anything even remotely like that. They merely declined to renew their advertising contract.
This “uproar” is blackmail, plain and simple. It is Media Terrorism. Lowe’s should find out who is responsible for it, bring criminal charges, and sue the living shit out of them. And they should advertise that they are doing just exactly that, which would win them far more support than trying to be PC for a bit and sponsoring some one-bit show that almost no one watches. I’ve seen part of an episode and it sucks; it would have to improve enormously to be merely a two-bit show.
Lost in all the screaming tantrums is the fact that Lowe’s ran ads on this show in the first place. If anything, I’m annoyed at them for that, not for stopping them.
Another company - Kayak.com has done it too - because the chief of marketing watched the show and said, it sucked!
