So, in addition to being over the top about Pops using a swear word (for which his DNA was required), the council is apparently responsible for maintenance on some stairs. Which they apparently have failed to do in satisfactory fashion for at least 3 years. And people here in the US want to give the government ever more control over their lives. How can they possibly imagine things will be any different? Governments fail spectacularly at everything private enterprise does well. They should exist solely to deal with diplomacy and fight wars.

Wow - kids (sorry yobs) are kicking to death each other but somehow the police can nab grandpa for using the f word. No wonder Britain is going to heck so quickly. Sadly it appears we are on the same slippery slope.
