  1. Oh come on Drew. Are you gonna believe your possibly mistaken eyes, or the words of our much bloated former VP?

  2. Wow - did you catch 2012 - real typical Hollyweird take on it. I almost barfed. I also think that Hurt Locker is coming under some really stupid ‘attacks’ because it ‘may’ beat out Avatar - of course I’ve not paid attention to the Oscars since they broke their own rules on documentary to give the Land Whale an Oscar for Bowling for Columbine - which I still (after 3 tries) have not been able to sit through the whole propaganda piece.

Have faith - You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.

If these idiots ever read the Book - they’d know the end of the story - It is not nice to spit in the face of God - did they really think nothing would happen?

Of course I vote for the Old Testament days of striking the liars dead, it would certainly make things easier - and make a point for all those who are giving them the benefit of the doubt or simply listening because ‘they’ mean well.

I wonder how long The Won’s latest decree - that this will be the final push for Obamacare, even if it fails - will last? And to what lengths he will go to ensure that it doesn’t fail?

    God Help America

  3. It has been 20 years since I stood on a Sierra Nevada mountain top, looking towards the west and could see nothing but a brown mass of smog blocking the horizon.

Not sure how to interpret that. Are you saying things have cleared up since then?

I was based in San Diego ‘83-’86. Last time I was in the Sierra Nevadas the view was clear as day. In fact, when I visited LA several times in the mid-80s, I saw no smog.

I’ve not seen a ‘brown mass of smog’ since the mid-70s. Yep, there were times when I was 16 that I couldn’t see the shopping mall across the street from the little strip mall I worked at. I also used to have asthma attacks.

(I know what you’re asking: Why, if based in San Diego, would you visit LA? Simple. I’m a chess player, and at the time Ed Labate had the biggest chess club/store in southern Cal. Anaheim, I think. Bought my first chess computer from him. Still have it. And it still kicks my @ss.)
