  1. Somewhat impressive. I’ve questions. What powers the ‘pods’? What happens if the ‘pods’ lose power? No rudder in an emergency? Is there a ‘backup’…

    engine or a boiler powered turbine that turns a giant driveshaft that turns an equally giant propeller,

    What’s the point? If they are trying to advertise as being more ‘green’, they fail. Something is powering those…

    massive electric motors hooked directly to the propellers themselves.

    I don’t see how this is any more ‘green’ or efficient. The Law of Conservation of Energy has not been invalidated.

    I’m not saying it isn’t a nice ship. But just asking why?
