Council threatens families with a £1,000 fine… for parking on their own driveways.  BAT ALERT

 

1. From my own experience with Home Owner Associations here in the US,
   I’d bet good money that the Council has a VERY friendly relationship
   with the contractors that they’ll insist on doing the job.....

3. Wouldn’t surprise me one bit, Tim.

   The timing of this affair suggests that there is more here than meets the eye. 

   Contractors need work, maybe?  Scare it up, any way they can?

   Or council members need kickbacks from contractors on account of hard times, maybe?  Scare THEM up, any way they can?

   We wonders, yes, we wonders!!
