1. I formerly thought that AGW was one of these science fads that blows thru regularly and them is discarded with shame 10 years later.  Now I suspect it’s worse than that.  I’m reminded that people could not believe that the Enron or Madoff thefts could be so brazen and huge.  Hmmm?

2. Control the media and you control the world. Chicken Little is king.

   Tell the ignorant masses that the sky is falling and they will run for cover. Not 1 in 1000 will actually look up to the sky and decide for themselves.

   On a related note, I have removed the Accuweather widget from my browser. It suffered the same fate as the similar Weatherbug widget a couple years ago. Both are hooked in to the government’s NOAA message center, and hardly a day went by without a “severe weather alert”. Last night’s alert was the proverbial straw “Warning: ice may form on untreated road surfaces”. This, the day after half a foot of snow fell. Duh. Buh-bye. I’ve had my fill of created crises. AGW is another one.

   The socialists hate the Royal Family. The Royal Yacht was decommissioned in 1997. The Tories promised to build a new ship but Labour did nothing. Despite claiming they would buy a BAe146 for the exclusive use of the Queen have yet to commit the cash. Even tin pot countries in Africa can do better than that.
