   Rebel groups being infiltrated and taken over by several factions of AQ, especially now that Obonghit is sending them guns?

2. I hoped that rant would stir something up.  I put a lot of pretty outrageous things in it, just to get people thinking.  I wasn’t sure where it would all go.

   The scary part is that a lot of it isn’t very far from the rhetoric and reality of some groups.  Some of the more bizarre associations and applications are actually feasible.

   Does anyone think that supplying the secular rebel units could still be worthwhile or are the Islamist rebels set to take over no matter what now?

4. Doc Jeff ....  listened to the most confusing rundown on the radio last night, on the various rival groups, and not just in Syria.  You just can not keep track of them all. And they’re happy to kill each other, so we should just let them.
