  1. The Donald says a lot of things and on both side of the issues and his mouth.
Do not trust a guy who hangs with the Witch of Chappaqua.

  2. But Rich - the politicos in DC - do the same damn thing. Obama lies to our faces and then has made secret deals, put out EOs in direct violation of the Constitutional powers he is suppose to have and NO ONE in DC is standing up to him.

Yes we might tread a line on giving powerful business men more power - but the corrupt politicians in DC have voted themselves so much power that they no longer listen to us, they no longer care about legislation benefiting or protecting America but worse - they no longer REPRESENT us.

I don’t think anything Trump has said - is worse than

Rep Johnson saying the Guam would tip over if 3000 Marines were sent there.

    or

Rep Jackson-Lee saying that she was on the House floor as a freed slave.

They all hang together and screw us behind our backs.

Right now Trump is a step above NONE OF THE ABOVE

However I just wish that ALL the parties got the same amount of time/exposure anywhere and the media would just put their names, parties (all D, R, G, L, C, TP, et al) and stand on the issues only.

It is all about influencing the vote - which is a form of voter fraud.

    And annoying as hell.

  3. Well, I’ve been out for far too long.

For the record: I do think The Donald is still a clown (and something of a Crypto Leftist). As somebody who’s trie dto study Long’s regime in his home state, calling him “The Greatest Populist Candidate since Kingfish” strikes me as an abyssmally low bar to climb (and one better off being compared to the likes of William Jennings Bryan; yes he was wrong on almost everything but you have to admire the guy’s heart. Bless him).

But the thing is he is significantly less of a clown than most of the rest. He is one of the few to discuss one of the most basic, fundamental problems of our republic and any republic that hes ever existed: that of citizenship and who is entitled to state protection.

And I have the slight inkling that the dignity of the office and the grandness of the cause might *just* rub off on him.

    Might.
