  1. Sorry to correct you, but Weird Andy said…

In the future, everybody will be world famous for 15 minutes.

...he never said that they would deserve it.  And most really don’t.

  2. I really don’t have a problem with Stern.  Especially now that he is at sattelite he can say and do what he wants.  If you are an adult you can make your own decision.  I listen to him and Opie and anthony on XM.  The only problem I have with Stern is that over the years he has turned into a Barking Moonbat on some issues.  But he is entertaining.

On a similar note, if you don’t have satellite radio- get it. I like Sirius better than XM and I have them both.  Music is better on Sirius and there is more conservative talk.

  3. Kinda like deciding whom** to root for in the years-ago Iran-Iraq war. (Why didn’t they have nukes back then?) Ignoring today’s entry about the dangers of personal confessions on the Web, my wife likes this POS! sick red face  She was devastated when they removed him from the local radio station. sick red face She bought his book! and a DVD of his movie! sick red face

I did, however, like “Who’s The Jew?”. sick red face  Oh yeah, and the bit where they asked Street People, Hustlers, Go-Go Dancers, Pimps, questions like: “What’s H2O?” or “Where do pickles come from***?” and bet on whether or not they knew the answer. sick red face Otherwise a real Loser Lamone.

**this word was created deliberately to make us all sound like English Butlers
    *** y’all do know that one don’t’cha?

  4. Thank you OCM. I rest my case.

Posted by Oink    United States   03/01/2006  at  11:02 AM

  5. OCM awoke with the sunrise, gazed out on the winter landscape, took a toke and dreamed of tatas. It was a good morning.

    LOL

I have Sirius radio and never listen to regular AM or FM any more. I DON’T listen to Stern though. Too weird for me. I stick with Classics channels (80-86), FOX News and talk radio.

  6. Pickles? They come from H2O.

  7. i love heart Ann nicole smith, i just aint got the cash to prove it long face

  8. Pickled H2O, it’s the latest “in” thing…

If tin whistles are made of tin, and olive oil is made from olives, then
what are fog horns, and baby oil made from question  big surprise

  9. comeon everybody, this is the moonbats version of advertising or news . . .damn I get them confused. Oh well, whatever, did you hear that moveon is financing Air America???  Because they have no courage of their convictions (which they also have none), their ‘talk’ consists of repetitive ‘sound bites’ and the Dem party’s platform is Abortion Uber Alles - anything involving moonbats and talk is bound to fail. Even my kids got tired of See Spot Run, after they grew up and learned how to really read.

ANS does not deserve anything beyond the 6 mil in properties - that’s almost a mil a month - no blonde bimbo is worth more than that. And if the 9th Circut Court hadn’t ruled dumbly (again) she wouldn’t be in DC in front of the Supremes. Hope that they get it right.

  10. Staying Right On Topic—Howard Stern—TODAY IS NATI0NAL PIG DAY!! ‘Swine’ if you prefer.

Thanks to Barb for being the only one to remember! http://www.annoyinglittletwerp.typepad.com/
    (Also note Barb’s Islamicist tie-in)

Here are some activities for Dac & the rest of the kiddies:  http://www.pork4kids.com/

  11. Oink sorry I did not know, I love piggys but not a pork fan (my family makes me cook it).  I do hope you had a wonderful day!

Posted by wardmama4    United States   03/01/2006  at  03:46 PM

  12. Ok, I must be in early alzheimers Oink - had bacon at lunch (my ‘fav’ bacon & pb sandwhich) and I checked out your links.

I (alzheimers again) can’t remember how I came to BMEWS, but after going to Barb’s blog - I am among friends. [Yes, even OCM and his few ramblings off into lala land]

Actually (and I use to love it) only pork product I can’t eat is sausage - but as I said, not a real fan.

Now crab (well actually any seafood) that I can eat all the time. No wait, I just love strawberries and . . . oh well actually I love to eat, which since I love to cook isn’t a big deal. And since I run the kitchen (and garden) - I get to eat what I want.

  13. OCM, be nice to Oink, it’s National Pig Day.

Posted by wardmama4    United States   03/01/2006  at  04:56 PM

  14. OCM: Pucker Up!  kiss

Wardmom: The nicest thing about alzheimers is all the new people you get to meet, isn’t it?  Have you tried whole hog sausage? Prairie Farm is excellent—most sausage, especially in the old days, was 99% fat + 1% unidentifiable stuff.

Somewhere on this BMEWS is posted my home-made biscuits & sausage gravy.

Posted by Oink    United States   03/01/2006  at  05:07 PM

  15. Oh Oink I had forgotten biscuits and gravy - told ya the old body parts just aint workin like they use to (alzheimers, remember) and sausage just makes me sick now.  I have a great recipe too - I can’t remember which national cook show I got it from, but if I did - you’d have a clue to how old I am. And then I got another gravy recipe (my hubby actually cooked it the first time), it is what southern biscuits were made for.

OCM, you’re not listening I said, be nice. Man, you two are like my kids - I get enough of that here in the house, don’t need to go out looking for it.

  16. I joke with the almost 12-shiver-year old BOY that it’s a good thing I converted ‘cause he’d make a LOUSY Jew.
His favorite meats are ham and bacon. LOL

Posted by Annoying Little Twerp    United States   03/01/2006  at  05:41 PM

  17. mama: Everybody despises some kind of food, even omnivorous me. (liver makes me shudder) The rule with my kids was: Don’t eat it and be quiet about it. Forcing kids to clean their plates is silly. That’s why God made plastic containers & refrigerators. Food is food, not a battleground.

Speaking of kids (OCM & OINK) why not try a nice loud “DON’T MAKE ME COME IN THERE!”

Posted by Oink    United States   03/01/2006  at  05:45 PM

  18. Barb: Some Rabbi once said that’s why God forbade them eating pork. (?!) Don’t worry yourself, it’s an Old Testament Thing.

OCM: Reconsidering your I-got-the-munchies-snack-of-choice: 1. pork rinds 2. cheddar 3, jalapenos ... WTF do they add to them next? ....RC Cola and Moon Pie flavor?

Posted by Oink    United States   03/01/2006  at  06:02 PM

  19. A song for Oink:(I heard it on a folk music radio show about 20 years ago)

    “I hate liver,
    Liver makes me quiver.
    Livermakesmecurlrightupanddie.(it makes me cry.)
    lilili-VER. lilili-VER. lililililililililili-VER.
    lilili-VER. lilili-VER. lililililililililili-VER.”

    *takes bow*

  20. I was also a liver avoider (same reason as pork, it is a childhood thing) until I went to Germany - man, oh man - their liver and onions are what eating is about. And of course liverwurst. I won’t do saurkraut, unless it is fresh and in Germany. Too different over here. Just like the gyros I learned to make while there - completely different from the gyros sold here.

I don’t do the clean the plate (course my youngest is mere weeks from voting age, so it’s really not an issue around here), we have a dog who believes that he is a human with fur and what we eat, he should eat too. So nothing goes to waste around here. He is game for anything unless it is covered in ketchup. Which since he just cleaned plates covered in tomato sauce - I beg to ask him what’s his aversion is to ketchup.

But since I love peanut butter and will eat honey roasted peanuts - but won’t touch a cookie or brownie with nuts in it - I guess we all have our quirks.

  21. B&w: Clearly, 99.9% of our food preferences are learned.  Babies will eat anything, which is one reason you have to watch them constantly. My daughter thought rice made her sick, because she threw up after eating it once. We ignored her, didn’t force her to eat it, it went away.

There are kids whose eating habits make me want to strangle ..  their parents. One kid I know won’t eat anything new unless she is bribed.

Liver does make me shiver. There are other foods I don’t especially care for, but only one liver—which makes me shiver. Never heard the song. There must be some biochemistry somewhere in our food preferences?

  22. What IS that miniscule object fast receeding in our rear-view mirror?  I can’t be sure at this extreme distance, but could it be what our Skipper facetiously calls “The Topic”?

  23. I love your picture.

And now you know why my kids hate me and my hubby has spent 20+ years with me - I never met a topic I can’t veer off into my own ‘space’. Here I feel ok doing it. I get into trouble a lot of other places when I do it.

Is there a free association support group?

BTW, what was the original topic?  red face

Posted by wardmama4    United States   03/01/2006  at  07:13 PM

  24. TOPIC? What steenkin’ topic?

Nobody every stays on topic here. No matter how hard I try.

A requirement for being a BMEWS member is certifiable ADHD.

Sometimes I just gotta let the animals run with it.

    wtf

  25. THE BMEWS MOTTO

Posted by Oink    United States   03/01/2006  at  07:59 PM

  26. Awwwww!
Oink now I’m ready to break into that song that Fern sings to Wilbur in the animated “Charlotte’s Web”. tune  heart
Btw-I actually have a good voice so it sounds sweet.(In an annoying sort of way.)

Posted by Annoying Little Twerp    United States   03/01/2006  at  09:23 PM

  27. Man I’m glad that my hubby just wandered off - if he had seen the new motto - he would never have let me forget it. He chides me sometimes as to how ‘easily’ I lose my train of thought.

One of these days I’m gonna learn how to add snazzy pictures - you might get to know me better. But then again that just might not be a good idea. Most days I consider it a miracle that I can even get onto the internet, so I guess I shouldn’t push the issue.

Oh yeah now I remember - it was Oink’s fault - by his self-aggrandizing reminder that it was National Pig Day that veered this off. Of course since the original was about Howard Stern whom I despise - I was only too happy to ignore the topic.

Posted by wardmama4    United States   03/01/2006  at  09:38 PM

  28. I repeat: Howard Stern <>Nation Pig Day ???????? What’s The Diff?

Posted by Oink    United States   03/02/2006  at  09:00 AM

  29. OCM: Time to scrape the bowl of the bong AND change the litter box. Cats been shittin’ in the wrong place again. Givin’ you Anal Oculosis.
