1. Here’s an idea for the next time and by the sound of it, there will be.
   Have a whistle at the ready by the phone. One blast should see him off. Also might be a good idea to have one of those intercept things on the phone line where ppl must ID themselves before you pick up.

   Cancel my whistle suggestion as the SOB could well turn it back on you in the future.

   We keep getting calls for the late BIL who once stayed here some yrs ago. I don’t know who the hell he originally called but we’re on a call list now and even being on the list of non call numbers, we still hear from telemarketing ppl asking for him.

2. Gah, anything I write about politicians begging for money just comes out sounding like a Tasmanian devil doing the “hiss, spit, and twirl” routine.

   Drew:  You’re absolutely right in not giving the Beltway Bastards any money.  They haven’t EARNED it, and you don’t throw good money after bad.

3. 8:13, Drew is pissed about rnc bots asking for cash.
   9:43, An hour and a half later and he’s kinda happy and all riled up when Romney Picks John Galt to be on the ticket.

Drew & Peiper - now you see the number 1 & 2 reasons we don’t have a home phone any more - we don’t have any money to pay off school loans, we aren’t Katie, Joesph or Doreen and we can’t/won’t give any money to politicians (why give them the means to get to DC to steal even more from us?!? - What do we look like bitter, clinging morons)?!?

   And a short story about a somewhat liberal (don’t talk politics)- who now is one of those robocallers for the RNC - see there is a positive in having the big o in the white house! (it’s my m-i-l) so there is hope for those on the fringe of politics and party ideals.
