  1. These idiot Europeans have caused us nothing but trouble and blood and money for the past century or so (WW1, WW2, the Marshall Plan, the Cold War, Bosnia, etc).  But unfortunately, I believe that once again we will be forced to save them from themselves in the next 20 years or so because of their chickenshit “ideals” concerning that living hate crime - the Muslims.  I just hope we’re smart enough to save ourselves as well. flag

  2. Blast you Skipper another book you recommended that I will have to buy! I should buy shares in bloody Amazon!

OCM probably. Cheap labour keeps down costs. I can still recall seeing a load of Mexican labourers picking onions in California. They haven’t had that kind of labour intensive farming in England for decades, but it must be economic or they wouldn’t do it.

Rudebadger I doubt there will be anyone left to save. From what I have seen and read the continent will descend into anarchy in the not to distant future. I can’t see the US getting involved again. I am not optimistic about the future here. Though I predict the catalyst that will set off the trouble will be Iran. I don’t think the US will allow these maniacs to manufacture a working bomb and I believe in the not too distant future the US will act. What effect this will have on the millions of moooslims in Europe will be to say the least interesting. I don’t think they will sit quietly and do nothing.

  3. TOPIC FOR DISCUSSION***: Europe vs. USA.  We like cheap labor too. Our Mexicans are seated next to me in Mass on Sunday. Is it significant that, thank God, unlike European cities, we lack large alienated Muslim Ghettos???

    ***translation: I dunno

  5. Skipper, I’d have to say the “Brain Food” lure was a dismal failure, attracting a mere handful of BMEWSers. Next time, stick with the old reliable “Nekkid Wimmin”. pig boobies  cutebutt  pig

  7. (I rest my case)

OK! I bot** it—even clicked to Amazon via BMEWS so we get the credit. (If the book sucks I’m deducting the cost from my massive annual contribution to BMEWS.) The AmazonPrime system is a helluva a deal—my extended family & I get free shipping for an annual fee.

  8. If it’s the same deal I have, she could extend it to you at no cost. It’s nice to buy some $3.98 item w/out an additional $3.98 S&H.

  9. Please OCM, not in front of Dac! —he’ll think all mature seasoned citizens live in caves. Those commercials get on my nerves: I’ve fallen & I can’t get up, or Look You Stupid Old Bastard—this CD will show you how to use a computer. Here’s what my bill looks like.

    Item Subtotal:  $16.35
    Shipping & Handling:  $0.00

    Total:  $16.35

    A9 Instant Reward: -$0.26

    Paid by Visa:  $16.09
