10:03 AM CDT works fine in both IE 6 & 7. I use Firefox but 2 different “view in IE” plugins show it up fine including Cities....
I just found the same thing. IE 7 seems to work for me.
its working ok now.
I think it has to do with sitemeter. Apparently, starting yesterday, thousands of blogs with the sitemeter code were inaccessible. Ace and LGF had problems also...it seems to be related to IE6 & 7, doesn’t seem to affect Firefox.
You can use the following fix for your I.E. 7:
Click on the menu Tools -> Internet Options. Click on the tab Security. Click on the icon Restricted Sites. Click on the button Sites. Type the text ‘*.sitemeter.com’ (without quotes). Click the Add button.
Clear your cache to get rid of the bad jsc if you still have lingering problems.
Drew, I should have also told you to remove the Sitemeter code from your sidebar. I just read that even with the fix, some are still having problems.
Go into your index template or the template for your sidebar and search for Sitemeter and just disable the code or delete completely. The only semi-good reason to use Sitemeter rather than the built-in counter with Expression Engine or another good counter is the Ecosystem rankings, but I don’t think they have the power they had a couple of years ago.
I have deleted the code from Pal2Pal and I’ll stick with EE’s built-in, with a hidden Bravenet counter as a backup that gives more comprehensive stats.
Yeah, it wouldn’t let ME on last night. I’ll try again at work tonight. What with work being .mil, I can’t go to a lot of places, but never had a problem here until last night.
I use Safari (Mac OSX). Never have a problem with your site.
Es bueno.
Drew, we come here EVERY day, often far more than once a day, ‘cause you and peiper rock.
I don’t know nuttin bout no computers - but I’m having problems with another site - go figure. . .Didn’t visit here this am - so I don’t know, visited there in the am - can’t go now.
We discovered the varmit who is raiding our garden - biggest, fattest (i.e. well fed) ground hog I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. We have declared war - and we don’t take prisoners. I’d be happy if he waddled into the front yard - we have tons of plums and I’m already at 101 things to do with plums. I guess I will spend tomorrow roasting over the stove to put some away for the winter. Just in time for the peaches to go too - the squirrels are taking them into the gazebo for their late night snacks - I wish shooting were legal within city limits - as we’d have some meat to go with the fruits and veggies.
