I do not know if any of you have read or heard about a little book titled - A Choice Not An Echo - it was a bypass mention in an article I read a couple of weeks ago. Given the author - Phyllis Schlaffly - I thought it was about the ERA fight (see, how damn good the media is in pigeonholing a single ‘personna’ for a public figure) - so I put it on hold at the library. A mere 121 pages - and any single quote or position - could be in today’s headline -not about the ERA - but about failing GOP elections and it was written in 1964. I have put the revised and current hardback version on my amazon list. The 3.5 pages of the chapter 1964 (believe me, it is NOT the only chapter on 1964) is worth the time. Dirty dealings, stolen elections (and primaries) and useful idiot candidates - meant to LOSE.
So the GOP - go along to get along - has a long, long history and this is why where we are today - America on the brink.
BTW, never, ever forget that the reason Clinton and Bush are running is that there are powers that be - who want to inure America to the concept of dynasties (Thank God that the Kennedy one self-imploded) which is just the first step toward tyranny or dictator one party (we all KNOW which one that will be) rule.
The book is short enough for most people to read - the names and specifics - are not important - it is the Concepts and Machinations that are behind the gradual - step by step, nudge by nudge move of America toward the failings of socialism (the newest and of course ‘best’ ism - which WILL BE SUCCESSFUL in America - because WE WILL DO IT RIGHT!?!). I know - I have stomached enough of the Leftists books to have read it over and over and over again (say a lie enough times and it becomes a truth in their fetid National Enquirer Pop Culture/Cult of Personality middle school juvenile minds).
The two things that the Left/Internationalists/One World Order fools forget is that America is NOT like any other country in history (we never had a king or dictator (on the edge with Obama and our do nothing Majority leaders, right now)) and the number of Americans with guns - who are not radical extremists who happen to be islamic or gang banger/criminals - but rather are true Patriotic Americans and of course the fact that the east coast, left coast and DC are NOT what the majority of Americans are - will tip the scales in favor of America continuing to limp along - until the *#^! hits the fan.
I still am amazed that Vermont which has Constitutional Carry - continues to elect/re-elect the totalitarian gun confiscator promoter Sanders. Some of these politicians boggle my mind as to the vapid utter stupidness of those who keep them in office. The Clintons, Bushes, Kennedys - I get - that is the rich and powerful - who want to stay rich and powerful. The moroons - I still don’t get.
I did not know this but it makes perfect sense now that I do:
