The article missed a couple of important points and fudged another, It seems to me the grain harvest has been kneecapped by the oposite of global warming, the cooling down has badly affected many factors in growing, global warming had it been true would have massively added to the grain growing areas and the warmth would have evaporated more water and made more rain. Secondly it is a real scientific fact (not an al gorical one) that the extra CO2 in the air causes plants that use it to grow to do so faster, makes sense.
Lastly, I really do wish the USA was trying to become oil independent, I will look for the signs when Obama is gone, like drilling in Alaska and the gulf of mex and the caribian and the construction of more refinaries.Sadly the simply foolish practice of running cars on food is a symptom of the AGW cult fantacy.Posted by Chris Edwards

If some chuckleheaded moron had come out with a statement of “Let’s burn our food!” everyone would have given him the bums rush out the door, and out of town.
And yet, that’s exactly what the bio-fuel industry is doing.
Seriously, the world has gone mad, and the patients are running the asylum.
