  1. Not only do I agree with you completely (except that he should never, ever be let out) but who is the idiot who housed a murderer with a driving offense fool? What the heck is going on over there? Is there not a person in power who has the sense to use their brains at all?

‘Light at the end of the tunnel’ - for a man who has killed twice - why, ever - should this piece of sub-human waste be given tomorrow, 3 hots and a cot - much less a chance to get out to prey on society again.

You know what I blame it on? On not having a single iota concern or concept of God and faith. If you have a concept of God - created in his image, love one another, do not kill, do not lie, do not covet - you pretty much do not commit crimes. And also in believing in God one will believe that they must answer as to their behavior if not in this world, in the afterlife. And the faith part is understanding that we are accountable now and in the afterlife for how we treat one another. Without these two things - such nonsense as believing that a murderer can be ‘cured’ or ‘inspired’ to change, that nothing happens after we die - so life is cheap and meant to live any way we chose (what’s going to happen to us?) and we also tend to put more value on things than on people - most especially any not us. And you can value the life of a murderer more than you can value the life of his victim(s) or innocent society which will become his prey in the future.

Give me a community of bible thumpers over a community of liberal loons any day. At least the former knows right from wrong - even if they don’t always live it. The latter just doesn’t give a damn about anything or anyone but themselves.

  2. It’s amazing that they put a guy with a suspended license in the same population as a murderer, much less the same cell. That’s a misdemeanor and a capital crime in the same cell. To combine two murders, at least one of which was premeditated, and get twenty years is just insane. The second murder, strangulation, would take several minutes to kill the other person. You’re choking the person as they struggle, turn red, weaken and then pass out. You have to continue to choke them for several more minutes or they’ll recover. It takes four minutes for brain damage to occur and I don’t know how long the whole process takes for them to die (I’m not going to Google ‘how long does it take to choke someone’ from my own computer).

After the victim is dead, they are… still locked in the cell with you. Makes it hard to hide the body, I assume. Bit hard to make the case into a Law & Order episode, eh? Or is there a ‘Law & Order: Moron Offender Unit’ series in the works? They could replace the L&O sound effect (duh duh!) with Homer Simpson’s “Doh! D’oh!”

The murderer appealed the sentence and had it reduced to ten years per dead body. Well, he’s killing them in fifteen month intervals so by the time he’s up for parole, he’ll have killed another sixteen people., netting him another century and a half. And I think you’re ineligible for time off for good behavior after five murders. Really, I don’t know what you’re worked up about.

  3. Wait till he (very publicly) finds Islam and “renounces” his evil ways in favor of that.  Yeah… The Judges will be falling all over themselves to give him probation, under the watchful eye of a local imam.

    This’ll end well.

Sounds ludicrous?  Okay, wait 2 years and see if this, or something equally obscene and similar doesn’t happen?

  4. Not only should he be housed with a member of the judge’s family the judge should also be responsable for the parolee’s actions and suffer any consequences that would have applied to the parolee.

I’ve already seen too much here to bet against that.
