5. Meanwhile the government here is advertising jobs for Muslim community liaison officers. Funny how there are no Hindu/Jewish/Buddhist etc. liaison officers. Why are these people given special treatment?

7. I am one American voting for profiling. If you are afraid of profiling - examine what you fear. Right now and since the late 70’s but certainly more increasing since 1990 - Muslims, islamicfascists, extremists, terrorists whatever you want to call them have been attacking people all over the world. It is time to stop pussyfooting around, having vapors and worrying about what ‘might’ happen - and stop it before there IS a world war and it becomes life and death for all.

8. Amen, wardmama!  Again, why be offended by the profiling unless you have something to hide.  Otherwise, I’d be delighted to see security at the airports profiling...it means someone is proactively looking out for my safety in the short- and long-term.
