Nay nay! Generally the French are the least racist people on earth. As long as you speak French, and live the French culture, they could care less what you look like.
So these little orphaned kids will be raised French. And their lives will be 1000 times better than what they would have been back in Haiti. And none of them are muslimes.
Have a little Christmas Cheer there old bean.
On the other hand, yeah, burning people for witchcraft is beyond the pale. Especially when just 2 months ago they were all convinced it was the UN soldiers from Nepal who were the cause of the cholera. It didn’t matter that they all had been tested and came up clean; somebody had to be blamed, and it was time to riot. When all you have is a machete, everyone else is guilty.
Come to think about it, maybe those orphans will do just fine in France, when they’re old enough to start burning cars along with all the other “disaffected youths”.
Ok, I went and read the whole adoption article and all the comments. Nowhere does it say that the children are orphaned or even abandoned. Or if their adoptions are permanent or just temporary.
That’s poor journalism. If these children have parents, then the ugly hue and cry of White Folks Stealing Black Babies will soon be heard.
The comments do point out that it is very difficult for the French to adopt children in France. Sounds like another government agency in need of a tear-down and a rebuild.
I think Peiper is on to something.If we all write really positive happy letters to Al maybe, just maybe, the poor downtrodden haitians can finally find they’re salvation.

If you think the problem with Haiti is race, please go there.
And you will find that the White-as-Snow Caucasians are just as effed up as the rest of the populace.
Yes, this act of charity will probably come back to bite France in the ass, but it will likely not be because of race (as the lilly-white Muslim yoot in and around the Parisian suburbs show).
And really, they have a better chance of developing into responsible human beings anywhere- and I mean *ANYWHERE*- but Haiti.

Turtler ...Yeah. I do hear ya. Anger seems to get the better of me. Seems like I haven’t mellowed with age.
Oh .. I forgot. Lyndon is right in what he says and has lots of experience in that dept.
And you do see it here in the UK. Everyday. With no end in sight.
