AT GROUND ZERO …. IS THIS A CASE OF A MOSQUE WHOSE TIME HAS COME?

 

1. I keep thinking of this in military terms:

   You draw the enemy out, make him/her/it overextend their lines. Then you hit them right there.

   Mosque at 9/11? Target of opportunity.

   Build it! Payback is going to be Hell.

2. Actually the muslims do not own the whole building - according to one article - Con Ed owns half of it.

   And as I pointed out earlier - all of the buildings in a two block area have/are submitting paperwork for Landmark Status, this particular building - whose roof sustained damage from a piece of one of the planes - is the only building denied that status.

   And the local people (i.e. the majority & the community - both groups of which the Left claims to ‘listen’ to at all times & should be the ‘deciding factor’) have been against this since the first spark of what was a afoot was known.

   It would be nice (even Politico in the article talking about how Obama spun his Friday speech to the muslims on Saturday - opened with ‘families of victims of 9/11 are against this’ bs). I was in TX that day - do not know a single person who died that day - and I’m against it. And I would bet money that more than 51% of American citizens would be against it too.

   What a bunch of liars and may they all rot in hell. Start with the JournoLists who are enabling this traitorous, treasonous behavior to explode such as it has for the past 2 years - by their lies, distortions and cover-ups.

3. The only muslim “thing” I will cheerfully accept is a large statue of Mohammed (piss be upon him) bowing from the east (i.e. ass toward Mecca) toward Ground Zero with a live muezzin chanting apologies and mea culpas 5 times a day.

5. At this rate the Ku Klux Klan and the Jewish Defense League will soon have an alliance. 

   Yes, the First Amendment rights of the Moslems include the right to build a Mosque anywhere they can afford to.  However, it’s been pointed out before that for a group that is always on the lookout for the slightest possible insult, the Moslems don’t seem to care what any non-Moslem thinks.  If they really want to make the case that they can be good Americans, that they really are a religion of peace and brotherhood, they really shouldn’t insult the 99% of the country that isn’t Moslem by building a triumphal Mosque on the doorstep of Ground Zero. 

   That’s an example of chutzpah.  For those of you who don’t know Yiddish, a good example of chutzpah is the man who kills his parents and then asks the court for leniency because he’s an orphan.

   F*ck them!  No civilized human being could possibly expect to deliver such a gross insult to so many people without suffering severe consequences.

   Then again, maybe it’s better this way.  The worse the Moslems behave towards the rest of us the sooner we will begin our own version jihad.  With Ramadan upon us, Moslem communities are already asking for greater police protection.  How will it be when the average person realizes that the Moslems are all take and no give?

   OK, Joe Mohammed, you say you want peace?  Prove it!  Show some courtesy and respect for the rest of us.

   Side Note:  I’ve heard that the property for the proposed Mosque is partly owned by a public utility.  Anyone talking to them about changing their plans?
