Drew, have you thought about keeping only enough silverware for two and giving away the rest to charity? Same with glasses and mugs. Looks like uv done a bit of hoarding over the years. Gee, skis too, that haven’t been used in ten yrs? On the up side, it also seems you’re moving into larger quarters. Good. That means more room to store more ‘stuff.’
btw ... how often do you move?
Ever read any Jack Reacher books? Carries all he owns with him, when his cloths need cleaning he throws em away and just buys new. Course, he isn’t always dressed that well. And doesn’t have a house. Not sure that appeals to me but do like the idea of not keeping stuff I have to keep track of or worry about losing. But alas ... we have ‘stuff’ too. Tho we’re trying hard not to collect too much as when our own move comes, it’s gonna be a nightmare.
Much like you in Jersey I have nothing but Dems in my state to write to about the Death to America health plan. But I did the obligatory gnashing of words anyway just to satisfy my penchant for wasting time. In case it isnt known back there My local congresscraphole is Earl ‘BOW TIE’ Blumenhauer. Hes the smart compassionete prick who wrote the death panel part of the bill. So as you can imagine my thoughts to his office went right in the circular file. But I bet a few aides are still suffering from ear burns from my comments. I hope!

I gave up living out of a backpack in college. Heck, I had more stuff than all the other kids combined who shared our off campus slum housing. But even though I left most of the furniture there, it still took me 2 pickup trucks worth of hauling to move out.
We have been in this place for 11 years, so things accumulate. I was in a unit around the corner by myself for 1 year before that. I’ve been running a business out of the garage for several years now as well.
And it’s back to raining again. Arrgh. So I guess stuff might get a little wet today, oh well.
