  3. Anyone think the Dems might wise up and change tactics?  I’ll give odds of 3:1 against.

To begin with, they’d have to sideline Schumer and the California Queens.  That’s just not going to happen.

For the first time since Obama’s election I’m actually feeling hopeful.

  4. Don’t start counting chickens.  They’ll use “reconciliation” to pass their takeover of health insurance.

A friend on another site said “We may have just averted a revolution” - I hope to G*d he was right…

  5. I think a revolution is coming anyway.  It will be bloodless unless the SEIU Goons show up.  I had a short on line debate with a Coakley supporter this afternoon.

    A few excerpts:

    Dr. Jeff

Question: Why is a Republican on the verge of beating a Democrat in a state that hasn’t elected a Republican in over 30 years?

    Coakley Supporter:

    What is there to evalulate....

She started with a refusal to look reality in the eye. That was followed by a personal attack and sheer arrogance.  Typical liberal/progressive Dem thinking.  The GOP didn’t like losing in 2008 (although the should have paid more attention in 2004 and 2006) and learned from it.  The Dems are too arrogant to even consider learning.

The only question is how much permanent damage will Obama have done before he is turned out of office.

  7. Amazing. The gloss has worn off The Won in record time. The media will be going all out to underplay the significance of this.

  8. I am giving Rushbo the Quote of the day award for this: Mary Jo, This ones for YOU!!

And this one from The great film Animal House from way back:
Otter: Bluto’s right. Psychotic, but absolutely right. We gotta take these bastards. Now we could do it with conventional weapons that could take years and cost millions of lives. No, I think we have to go all out. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody’s part.
Bluto: We’re just the guys to do it.

The People of Massachusetts: LET’S DO IT!

  9. "The only question is how much permanent damage will Obama have done before he is turned out of office.”

This is the real scary part. It’s almost impossible to get rid of entitlement programs.
Appointees however will fall like wood chips.
