This is a good read indeed.  It is illustrative that this fat moujik made his first step to fame across the dead body of a man he betrayed, a man who had never harmed him.  After all, he tried to make his latest step to fame across the dead body of the nation itself.  God be thanked, he did not succeed, Cannes and its hothouse atmosphere notwithstanding.

   This specimen will doubtless continue to be a noisome nuisance for some time to come.  However, if this bio is even half right, he fits the classic profile of a man who will hang himself if given enough rope.  Let us bide our time and prepare to be grateful....
