4. The MSM propaganda machine is already well ramped up on painting Loughner as a darling of the Republican party and conservatives in general. 

   How about some truth from the people who knew him?

   That’s the headline from a Phoenix New Times article quoting some of his friends.

   Comments from friends and former classmates bolstered by Loughner’s own Internet postings have painted a picture of a social outcast with almost indecipherable beliefs steeped in mistrust and paranoia.

   He’s a nut case, pure and simple.  There are plenty of articles and interviews with people who knew him to substantiate that.  He did have an interest in politics and political beliefs, but the over riding fact is that he’s crazy, at least in the ordinary sense of the word.  There were numerous times that he might have been stopped (including a Walmart who turned him down for bizarre behavior when he wanted to buy ammo - he apparently cleaned up his act and a different Walmart store sold him ammo later)

   So, we’ve got another score for the MSM propaganda machine.  Their motto should be “Politics before truth.”

   I hate seeing an awful tragedy like this so heavily politicized and twisted to fit a political agenda.  It’s disrespectful of the wounded and the dead to have their suffering so cynically used.
