  2. Huh, peiper? It’s usually nice to provide links to your source?

    Just thought I’d mention that.

  3. Christopher ... I got the story from the Telegraph. BUT ... NO LINK I could find. I tried to Google it and still came up empty.  That sometimes happens. In fact, there are time when I do a search right on the papers site for one of their very own columnists, only to come up empty.  I’ve even called them and am told not everything is on line. Which isn’t true either cos sometimes after a long hunt I do find. But not all of the time.
AND ... for some oddball reason, some stories only come up in some kind of pay only site but NOT on the papers online site. Go figure.
The Telegraphs search engine btw is ... Google again. And that’s another odd thing. The search engine in their own site while Google, does NOT return the same results as the Google engine in the top of my browsers. Whether IE or FireFox.

  4. You got this from the print version?

    I did find a link. I Googled

joys of the French way of life promotional video

and found the article dated December 4th.

‘Life in France’ video shot in US

Remind me to remind you to thank me later. grin

Oh, you might want to go back and update the post.

  5. Christopher ....

We get the Telegraph 7 days a week. The link you provide is a better and fuller story, but I posted all I was able to get at the time, by copying what I saw in the paper. Not as much as your link.  I never found this link at the time.  Don’t know how you did it as I also Googled the story using the headline that was in the paper.
I guess these things just happen with puters.

Shutting down for the night .... not well.

    cheers.
