  1. I heard about this yesterday. According to the news report the wreck is 3-miles straight down and about 300 miles off the Irish coast.

    Despite the distance off the coast (and the fact “neutral” Ireland was somewhat pro-German in WW-II) I predict the Irish government will demand payment in a percentage of the Silver recovered.

  2. As stony broke as Ireland is these days I don’t think their territorial claims extend quite that far! This could prove very lucrative for the salvage company. Even with the recent dip silver is still trading at $31.50 and oz.
