a JP for 12 years, was handed a formal reprimand
Looks like I was mistaken when I originally posted this happend 2 months ago.  But that’s when I first read about it.
Anyway ... it’s STUPID!  But that’s the moonbattery world today.

What wasn’t mentioned on the blog I found this on after a search, was what reported earlier. She caused £1500 ($3,000) damages to the welfare housing she and her kids were in, and was evicted but refused to go. She also hadn’t paid her rent.

  1. Ok, its a little old, but you found it and wrote it up, so ...

Yup, the judge ought to have been reprimanded, for walking off the job!! What he ought to have done is to have called in the bailiffs and had the thing ripped off her head. Judges can do pretty much as they damn please in their own courtrooms; he could have got away with that. But having a tizzy and a sulk and running away? He really should have been FIRED.

Personally I think hijab wearers should be refused all services everywhere, because in our culture wearing a mask or a hood is indicative of criminal intent.

  2. Ok Peiper, now you have confused me. I guess you edited your original post, because I just reread it and didn’t see a thing about how you thought this happened a few months back. It’s in today’s papers and news sites.

It was also mentioned over at Neil Boortz’s page under the title “Penguin in the courtroom”. And he’s covering the gun story I ran with yesterday. Which was from a newspaper article 2 days old. No matter; a little temporal anomoly in the blogosphere is OK, as we’re still generally several days ahead of the TV news.

The more voices that get a story out there, the bigger the impact it makes. It’s only overblown when Geraldo or Greta pick up on it.

  3. Here’s a thought. If they refuse to show their face, presume them a terrorist and kill them.

  4. Oooh, that’s a thought alright!

Gosh, imagine BD as a magistrate. That would be something. Go for it Bulldog!!

  5. Hussain made a formal complaint and yesterday Mr Murray, a JP for 12 years, was handed a formal reprimand by Justice Minister Jack (man of) Straw and the Lord Chief Justice.

Jack Straw happens to have a large muslim minority in his constituency. Personally I dislike him intensely but I feel that way about most socialists and marxists.

Drew the original story happened some time ago. It was only recently that the Magistrate was taken to task. I don’t know how it works in a magistrates court, but as I see it turning up in a body bag qualifies as contempt of court. She should have spent 14 days detained at Her Majesties pleasure for turning up in that outfit.

  6. Judges rule in the court room. Kinda like a captain at sea.

You don’t flee your responsibilities, you call in the bailiff and rip the damn thing off her head. This is a court of law, not of religion.

So, a judge that abdicates his/her/its responsibilities should be disciplined.

Wish I’d been that judge… ‘Off with her head!’

    Sigh, a lifetime opportunity wasted.
