I do believe this is a post in progress. Stay tuned for the next chapters.
I still say you should fight. Gather up the other impacted neighbors and go to court.
Well, other neighbor on the other side isn’t impacted at all. Lucky them.
Oh, btw. I forgot to put it in the post.
This new house, without any landscaping being done by this crew, just the building of the house is running £420 to 450 THOUSAND POUNDS! And that doesn’t include fixtures, carpets, kitchen stuff. AND .. there are plans to build a summer house at the far back of their garden. So I don’t buy the money blues the new owner tried on me this wkend. I met him when he came by on Sat to view the progress of the house.
I’m also convinced that somehow they could be in violation of building plans. But I can’t prove that. It just such a massive place tho.
The inspector informs us that in no way are we responsible financially
ha, I knew it!
But you should file a lawsuit against the builder, architect, zoning council, and the new property owner anyway, just for the upset they’ve caused you here. Then settle out of court for £5000 and a new bit of pipe with and exposed valve a foot inside your property line.
