  1. Some common sense there, the dems will not listen, same up here in Canada, Conservative minority gov say cut taxes, libs say only for the poor???? just how will that work, it is the middle classes that keep the shops open not the poor (ok the poor keep the beer stores open) how about cutting sales tax (in the UK when things were more honest it was called purchase tax, plain and true, then the EU changed it to value added tax????? ) to zero on goods that consist of 80% or more home produced components. Stop all pay rises and perks for all gov paid folk, no more gov staff to be employed.
There all fixed, one more no loans or plastic without dilligence (min 20% deposit for a house loan)
    Done,

  2. There’s an idea - let’s freeze the Congresscritters pay at say - $36,000 (last General pay I remember being frozen at) - personally I’d like $1.00 just to see how many of these so-called Public Servants would be willing to continue to serve the public - but hey even a freeze like that - without bribes, ‘donations’, contributions, gifts, lobby fees etc being allowed ever to be directly used, managed or transferred offshore by the (less than) honorable Public Servants.

Washington D.C. has become a sesspool. I think Rep. Boehner is a very fiscal conservative - I’d vote for him if he was in my district - but unlike my Representative (who was voted out of office by the rare Obamamaniacs who bothered to get up from in front of their tvs and vote this election) Boehner is not a conservative on other issues.

But he is better than the rude, arrogant, ultrliberal jerk that the Obamamaniacs forced on one of the most conservative counties in OH. . .

I figured that this Administration would be about reparations, paybacks and revenge - I just did not think it would be shoved down our throats in the first week.
