  1. Smells like bullshit to me, how much toxic gas has the launch caused? there was a theory that the large amount of space craft and satelite launches in the 60s and 70s upset the weather systems, dont laugh its a better and more logical than global warming by CO2

  2. I see, arsenic is not the cause of the toxic effects, arsenic is a symptom of the toxic effect.

The physics is simple; CO2, methane, and water vapor are opaque to certain wavelengths. They stop heat from radiating out from the Earth. What complicates matters is the sheer size of the playing field. Expecting a straightforward outcome from the rise in ambient energy is like trying to game balance an RPG. A complex system means a complex response to any change.

But since change is complex predicting how things will change becomes very difficult. In addition, we lack the tools necessary to make a comprehensive assessment and prognostication. What we can do at best is make a barely informed guess.

But the worst thing is, there is no difference between natural CO2 and artificial CO2. That because there is only one kind of CO2, and with our knowledge and technology we can’t change that. We may only be responsible for 1 billion metric tons of CO2 each year, but that’s still 1 billion more metric tons than the system would get were we not here.

The system is in the middle of change. This change is not straightforward, and will not be straightforward. The swings are more extreme. The extremes the swings reach are more, well, extreme. The chaos and confusion are more extreme. All because more energy from outside is staying in the system thanks to rises in CO2, methane, and water vapor.

And then you have the matter of how much energy we get from the Sun. Considering that we get such a tiny amount of energy, compared to what the Sun produces, a small fluctuation can mean a huge change in climate. Changes in Solar output, orbit, axial tilt, degree of tilt at points in the orbit. When you’re furthest from the sun when your hemisphere is most tilted away from the Sun, your orbit is the flattest it can be (means a big difference between apogee and perigee), and the Sun aint putting out much at all, then there’s gonna have to be a lot of CO2 in the air to keep this place warm. A lot more than what we have now.

  3. Forgot to mention it earlier guys but over here in Alice in Wonderland,
they aren’t using the term, Global Warming, anymore. Or at least not a whole lot.
No,no.  They now are using a one thingy fits all.

    “Climate Change”
Under climate change, the sky is still falling.

  4. There were two major BS statements in that little press release.

    1. “Carbon dioxide, the biggest contributor to global warming, is emitted by the burning of fossil fuels by power plants, motor vehicles and other sources.”

Total BS; the biggest greenhouse gas is water vapor, by several orders of magnitude.  And they neglect to mention that man-made sources of CO2 make up less than 3% of all atmospheric CO2.

    2.  “Global warming is one of the most pressing issues facing the international community”

Unproven, theoretical global warming is more pressing than international terrorist groups, failing economies, wars, famine and disease?  Can I trade this shovel in on a used bulldozer?
