when arabs suggest something that makes sense and is correct, why don’t we listen?

It was yesterday or the day before but who’s counting, when I went off the rails and ranted about the WikiLeaks. Don’t get me wrong now. I’d still love to see that Assange creep as well as the fag private in a hole somewhere in the Ca. desert. Preferably buried and alive.  You could say with some justification that I am not a fan of either. Here come the “but.”
I am beginning to wonder if even with all the embarrassment and the problems the leaks will cause, and they already have, I am beginning to wonder if we were done a favor. Unintended to be certain, but perhaps a favor nonetheless.  And that will only depend on the American people of course.

Opening today’s papers and reading more on the subject, I was surprised to find that our country (USA) was actually getting damn good advice from the Arabs. From muslims.  Now it’s true the advice would also serve their own particular interests but so what?  Don’t all countries try their best (ok, not all the time) to look after their own interests?  Sure they do.  Not as much in the west of course what with political correctness and the left running the show. And anyway, if our interests and their interests happen to run together, why not co-operate?

The Arabs who tried to have us see reason were right.  We were wrong. It’s a black and white issue with me.
If you weren’t aware of this before now, some of you might agree.  I know you would because over the past year or more, our regulars have been commenting and suggesting much of what the Arabs have.

WikiLeaks: Kuwait wanted Gitmo detainees to be ‘killed in combat’

The Kuwaiti government privately urged the Americans to return Guantánamo detainees to Afghanistan so they could be “killed in combat”.

A leaked diplomatic cable discloses that the Kuwaiti interior minister resisted US pressure for the country to establish a “rehabilitation centre” for terror suspects, saying that they were “rotten” and “the best thing to do is get rid of them”.

The hardline view emerged in a private meeting between US and Kuwaiti officials in February 2009.

During the meeting, the US ambassador suggested that Kuwait follow Saudi Arabia’s example and attempt to rehabilitate terrorist suspects.

Shaykh Jaber al-Khalid Al Sabah, the Kuwaiti interior minister, is said to have replied: “I can talk to you into next week about building a rehabilitation centre, but it won’t happen. We are not Saudi Arabia; we cannot isolate these people in desert camps or anywhere on an island. We cannot compel them to stay. If they are rotten, they are rotten and the best thing to do is get rid of them.

“You picked them up in Afghanistan; you should drop them off in Afghanistan, in the middle of the war zone.”

The officials also discussed the plight of a Kuwaiti suspect who had been returned to Kuwait by the Americans. The cable states: “Kuwait’s record had been tarnished by the example of former GTMO [Guantánamo] detainee al-Ajmi, who’d allegedly blown himself up in Mosul [in Iraq] following his release to the Kuwaiti authorities.”

The UK Government has agreed to pay millions of pounds in compensation to British citizens who were released from Guantánamo.

Kuwaiti officials also advocated allowing drug smugglers caught off the coast to drown. “God wished to punish them for smuggling drugs by drowning them,” the minister said, allegedly “smiling broadly”.

The above remark by the official was in response to the rescue by an American naval vessel of a couple of Iranian drug smugglers.  And he was right. Again.

Islamists establish a bridgehead in Parliament.

Interesting view and another example of what this country faces daily.
At some point in time the bad guys are gonna open wide that back door which is already ajar.

Politicians of all parties and even spokesmen in the security services are mouthing the pc line about how awful torture is and is unacceptable and immoral yadda,yadda.  As if the enemy will be impressed by the high moral tone of the speech in London and the US, in some quarters.

Meanwhile in the USA, I read that a Somali sub-human scum tried to set off a bomb. Was he immediately shot dead? You know he wasn’t and furthermore, he more then likely wasn’t worried about it because like all the rest, they know and they use the weak kneed legal system much to their advantage.

It will eventually be our undoing.  Oh btw ... just to show you (but you know) how well others play the system both legal and social, here’s a bit of info.
Those Somali pirates who got a ton of money and finally freed that couple after a year, suggested to them that they sell their house to raise hostage money. When they asked the pirates where they would live without a house, the pirate leader told them that if they applied, then the Brit. govt. would give them a house.  And that isn’t all.  Turns out that two of the pirates have relatives here in England AND, one of them has a wife and kids here and wants to immigrate to England asking for asylum to be with his family.  He’ll claim benefits of course, assuming he does what he says he wants to and is allowed in.
Do all these bastards know the system er what?

Islamists establish a bridgehead in Parliament

After a series of reverses in the political arena, Islamist sympathisers yesterday established a key bridgehead in Parliament.

A body called iEngage (also known as Engage) states in a press release that it will be acting as the secretariat to a new All-Party Parliamentary Group on Islamophobia, whose inaugural meeting was held yesterday in the Commons. The group is chaired by a Tory MP, Kris Hopkins. The Lib Dem deputy leader Simon Hughes and the Labour peer Lord Janner are vice-chairs. Sources say that the inaugural meeting was attended by the Tory MPs Angie Bray and Eric Ollerenshaw, and the Labour MP Lisa Nandy, among others.

I’m quite certain all these people are sincere individuals who would have no truck with Islamism or extremism. Indeed, at least one of them is Jewish. But they are being used. They need to look much more closely at who they are getting into bed with.

iEngage is an organisation of Islamist sympathisers which has consistently defended fundamentalist organisations such as the East London Mosque and the Islamic Forum of Europe. It routinely attacks all criticism of them as “Islamophobic.”

It attacked the BBC’s recent Panorama documentary on racist Muslim schools – showing that some children are being taught anti-Semitism and Sharia punishments – as a “witch-hunt.” Typically, it launched its attack before even seeing the programme. It was almost alone in this criticism – faced with Panorama’s clear evidence, even some of the usual Islamist suspects kept quiet.

It attacked me for writing about the East London Mosque’s hosting of the terrorist preacher, Anwar al-Awlaki, in 2009 – advertised with a poster showing New York under bombardment. It peddled the straightforward lie told by the mosque that no-one had realised Awlaki was a bad egg at that stage. In fact, Awlaki had been identified by the US government two months before as a spiritual leader of the 9/11 hijackers – and the mosque knew this.

iEngage’s chief executive, and secretary of the new parliamentary group, Mohammed Asif, wrote to the Home Secretary to protest against the ban on the extremist preacher, Zakir Naik. Mr Naik has stated that “every Muslim should be a terrorist.” But Mr Asif and iEngage said that Naik’s exclusion would “put at risk good community relations.”

iEngage publicised a grotesquely misleading report issued by another Islamist-sympathising group, iEra, purporting to show that three-quarters of non-Muslims believe Islam is negative for Britain. As I demonstrated, this result – massively more than the true figure – was only achieved by systematically twisting the data as part of iEra’s agenda to sow suspicion and discord between communities.

Because too often, the charge of “Islamophobia” has been used by Islamists to stifle and deter examination of their own actions. They deliberately conflate Islamism (followed by a tiny minority of British Muslims) with the entire faith of Islam, and accuse anyone who scrutinises or attacks their minority brand of fundamentalism of being “anti-Muslim.” That is basically iEngage’s entire purpose.

It is a deeply dangerous game and not one, I’m sure, which any MP would want to be involved in.

free speech in europe … so long as it’s approved

I think this video is one of his best and it is spot on.
There isn’t anything for me to say that would make this any more correct or informative.  But I’m not certain yet that what he sees as an end to the multi-culture nightmare is actually over.  Or for that matter, political correctness.

There is a disturbing thing here I’ve been aware of for awhile and hadn’t thought a lot about till more recently.  It is the willingness of some people, almost always the more liberal and left, to squeal on other people.  Say something critical and say it with distaste in regard to Gypsies, muslims or any group or religion, and there will be some snot nosed wimpy weakling who will happily run to authorities to report your utterance.  Remember the kid in school, there was almost always one boy or girl who ran crying ... teacher,teacher .... Tommy said this or Mary did that.  Well they are all grown up now, they haven’t changed and they seem to prosper here in England.  Not to say we don’t have more then our share in the USA as well.
Not exactly a happy thought.

JEWS AGAIN SUFFER THE SLINGS AND ARROWS OF OUTRAGOUS FRAUD …..

Nu? So what else is new?  We all know Jews poison wells and even invented the common cold. Right?

Seriously, this kinda thing is maddening when you think about it.  The Protocols of the Elders of Zion is, among other things, getting some attention in a program being aired tonight.  Hard to believe sometimes that something so fraudulent and proven to be so, is being taught in muslim schools here in the UK. Or perhaps not so hard to believe considering it’s source. It isn’t bad enough I guess that so many are very liberal and very left and add to the enmity many already feel.  Now the damn protocols are being given life, if they ever ended, to open young minds who will absorb everything theyare told. And will believe.
It’ll never end. And worst of it is, there are plenty of liberal minded left wing Jews who stupidly help the very ppl who want to do away with them, and think of the many very conservative and right wings Jews as Fascists.  Of course, anybody Jew or not who doesn’t agree with left wing thought is a Nazi.  Right?

Now having said all that, I’m not certain I disapprove of some aspects of Sharia law. The treatment of thieves is appealing, I think.

So-called ‘weekend schools’ for Muslim pupils as young as six also teach that the penalty for gay sex is execution and that ‘Zionists’ are plotting to take over the world for the Jews.
One set textbook challenges youngsters to list the ‘reprehensible’ qualities of Jews.
Another for six-year-olds asks them to answer what happens to someone who dies who is not a believer in Islam. The answer being looked for is ‘hellfire’.
A BBC Panorama investigation, to be screened tonight, identified a network of more than 40 weekend schools teaching around 5,000 children, from age six to 18.

The schools – which offer the hardline Saudi National Curriculum – are run under the umbrella of ‘Saudi Students Clubs and Schools in the UK and Ireland’.
They are not state-funded, and do not use Government buildings. They are able to exploit a loophole which means weekend schools are not inspected by Ofsted.
Last night, experts at the Policy Exchange think-tank warned that similar extremists could seek to exploit the Government’s policy of giving greater freedoms from state control to free schools and academies.

They call for the establishment of a due diligence unit to check whether those applying to open the schools have an extremist background.
There are diagrams showing children where cuts must be made. One passage says: ‘The specified punishment of the thief is cutting off his right hand at the wrist. Then it is cauterised to prevent him from bleeding to death.’

The text books for 15-year-olds revive the so-called ‘Protocols of the Elders of Zion’, which teach that Zionists want to establish world domination for Jews.
The Saudi text books instruct pupils: ‘The Jews have tried to deny them (the Protocols) but there are many proofs of their veracity and their origin among the elders of Zion.’

The text books say the ‘main goal’ of the ‘Zionist movement’ is ‘for the Jews to have control over the world and its resources’ which, the book allege, Zionists seek to achieve partly by ‘inciting rancour and rivalry among the great powers so that they fight one another.’
Panorama separately claimed some Muslim private schools have expressed extreme sentiments on their school websites.

These include: ‘We need to defend our children from the forces of evil’, and ‘our children are exposed to a culture that is in opposition to almost everything Islam stands for’.

If they’re worried about western exposure on their children, then what in heaven’s name are they doing here in the west? Go away dick heads. Leave.
Nobody but the left will miss you. Go where you belong to begin with.  Ah right.  Little if any financial benefits. Talk outta turn and perhaps more then a hand might be lost.  Arranged weddings even under duress, filth and ignorance and dark age mentality. Go. You’ll fit right in seamlessly.

TAKE YOUR INEGRATION AND SHOVE IT!

Had to take off Sat and booting very late today. Ran across this interesting piece at Europe News, who took it from The Gates of Vienna blog.

I won’t post much of it here cos it’s longish, the person interviewed isn’t very articulate, but I thought it would be interesting for our readers to see this mindset. Not that you weren’t aware for a very long time.  But you know how it is.  When those of us on the right talk about this subject in negative ways, we’re racists, or xenophobic or maybe Fascists.  And those would be the nice things.
Good to know from the horses mouth (or is that from the other end?) that we’ve been right all along.
But then ... you already knew that as well.

Who really wants integration?

When discussing immigration in Western Europe these days, the big buzzword is “integration”. German Chancellor Angela Merkel recently convened an integration summit to discuss strategies to help Germany’s large Turkish minority to accommodate themselves to German society — and, coincidentally, to steal some of the thunder from Thilo Sarrazin, whose anti-immigration book has proved a huge popular success.

But what does “integration” mean for practical purposes? And the big question, which largely goes unasked: Is it really possible to integrate Europe’s huge Muslim population in any meaningful way?

An interview transcript from an October 29 program on Denmark Radio should give pause to anyone who still thinks “integration” is doable. The young woman interviewed for the program was born in Denmark, but she makes it quite clear that she has never integrated into Danish society, nor does she ever intend to do so.

Henrik Ræder Clausen sent the tip for this interview, and he included this comment:

We are discussing ghettos in the Danish media (mostly about knocking down high rise apartment blocks, unfortunately), and here is an interesting interview with a resident who has a whole new take on the issue. She feels safe because it’s an area for Arabs.

Iman Rabeh, Gellerup: Well, Gellerupparken, it’s been my life, it’s been — all my friends, because everywhere in Gellerupparken there are both good memories and bad memories, but, you know, I can’t leave Gellerup.

Mikkel Krause: But what are the values in what we now call a ghetto, that are important to you?

Iman Rabeh: Well, the value is that community … that we all understand the same language, which we all speak, that we stick together, you know, my neighbor — all my neighbours are Arabs, and if they’re not Arabs then they are Lebanese, and if they’re not Lebanese then they are — we have that love for one another that you’re an Arab, I’m an Arab, we can talk with each other, we can discuss everything, we come from the other countries…

Mikkel Krause: But what does it mean to you, that you come from Gellerupparken specifically, you know, that you’re Iman from the ghetto rather than Iman from Vejlby or wherever else you might come from?

Iman Rabeh: Oh, it means everything! Because if I moved to a Danish area then it wouldn’t mean that much to me because one thing is that I know the language, but you know, Danes as such, they are not like us, they — in everything we have different customs, we have different — you know, we are different and have different ways of thinking.

HISTORIAN AND MR. EGO BLAMES BUSH AGAIN,AGAIN,AGAIN,AGAIN.BAD BUSH, NAUGHTY USA …

And this bit of Bush bad mouthing is from a conservative.  I’ve read one or two of his history books but think I need to question a bit more his conclusions. He makes statements here I know aren’t spot on.  For example, he says “It is probably no coincidence that Nazi Germany employed the most brutal security methods of any nation in the Second World War, yet had the worst intelligence about its enemies.”
Yeah but not because they used torture.  The Russians sure as heck were their equal if not their betters when it came to torture.  As it happens, I’ve just finished a book called “Stalin’s Follies” and what an eye opener that was.  Anyway, German intel mostly failed for other reasons and the Soviets had em beat at that too.
Bottom line ... according to this loony tune, as usual, it’s all due to Bush. It’s ALL his fault.

Sometimes I just have to post things like this.  Not saying our people haven’t made mistakes or wrong footed something. But I question things like this.

In this war, the West is supposed to stand for democracy, freedom and truth. But Guantanamo has become a global byword for repression and cruelty, conducted in the name of the U.S. and its allies. 

Bullshit Mr. Hastings.  It’s being fought to keep the scummy bastards at arms distance. I don’t buy the democracy and freedom thing as regards the ragheads who pray with their ass in the air and brainwash their women to accept subservience as normal.  Talk till you’re blue in the face, those folks have no use for and wouldn’t know what to do with truth and freedom and democracy. And you only have to read the signs they happily hold before the cameras in your own streets when they protest democracy and freedom.  The only freedom they approve of is theirs. And the freedom they want is the freedom to bury the west.
And they eventually will do just that as long as there are folks like you who should know better, who give them the moral support they need by bad mouthing our own side so publicly. Putz!  With regard to all the money that will be given away to the terrorist scum. That’s what happens in both our countries when you allow civil rights lawyers to run things.

This is the price of Blair’s slavish backing for Bush

Many people in this country will be very angry – and rightly so – that ‘British’ former inmates of Guantanamo Bay detention centre are to receive compensation from the taxpayer of up to £1million each.

The beneficiaries are people who may have legal title to British citizenship, but have shown themselves at least sympathetic to Al Qaeda, and bitterly hostile to the West.

Binyam Mohamed, for example, was arrested in Pakistan eight years ago on suspicion of planning a ‘dirty bomb’. Omar Deghayes, 38, was born in Libya, moved to Britain as a child but preferred to live in Afghanistan under Taliban rule.

Even if there was insufficient proof of their participation in terrorism to secure court convictions, most of those who were released to Britain from American custody regard themselves as foes of this country. Now they are about to get rich out of us.

This is an ugly story, which once again seems to highlight the weakness of the West, reveals the exploitation of human rights law which makes us a soft touch and involves huge waste of public money.

However our government had little choice save to approve this out-of-court settlement. It was advised that, if these men’s cases went to full hearings, the legal costs would be enormous, sensitive intelligence would be made public and, in any case, the Government was bound to lose.

All litigation involving Guantanamo detainees is fatally compromised by the fact that some, if not all, are now acknowledged to have been subjected to torture. Britain’s intelligence services at the very least knew how they were being treated.

Some victims allege that Secret Intelligence Service or MI5 officers were present at their interrogations. Crucially, the Bush administration has been exposed as having lied systematically about its maltreatment of prisoners while being aware it was taking place.

Indeed, an American security expert says: ‘What happened at Guantanamo is a case study in everything that was wrong with the Bush administration.’

After 9/11, when Washington’s neo-conservatives declared their misnamed ‘war on terror’, Bush and his cohorts decided that extraordinary times demanded extraordinary measures. There followed a bonfire of legal safeguards against the mistreatment of suspected terrorists.

Washington sought somewhere to hold out of reach of federal jurisdiction. The American-owned Pacific islands of Wake and Guam – and even the possibility of an aircraftcarrier at sea – were all considered.

But in Guantanamo Bay, with its unique legal status as a U.S. base leased from Cuba, the CIA could use extreme interrogation techniques (including waterboarding) to force the prisoners to confess their ‘crimes’.

In his memoirs published last week, former president Bush claims that as a result of these controversial interrogation techniques, vital information was obtained from the prisoners which meant that lives were saved in Britain and America.

However, I know no one in security circles on either side of the Atlantic who believes this. For although torture sometimes persuades hard men to talk, it seldom induces them to tell the truth. It is probably no coincidence that Nazi Germany employed the most brutal security methods of any nation in the Second World War, yet had the worst intelligence about its enemies.

muslim youths threaten boy who supports brit troops and refuses to claim hatred of troops. typical.

Generally I post only part of an article and give readers the link for the rest.  But this is a very different kind of story.
I’m not surprised at the attitude of the young thugs who by rights should be immediately shot. They are old enough and dangerous enough to be a serious threat.
At this very moment, I am listening to a panel show on BBC Radio 4, where one loopy left wing total ass, is saying violence is okay during protests and demonstrations.  The reason for this particular program and subject tonight, is because of the “student” protests last week that turned violent. There was the usual damage and at one point, one of the slime dropped a fire extinguisher from the roof of a building, narrowly missing a police officer. The jerk being interviewed at the time is okay with that sort of thing.
So then, is it any wonder that there are kids like those described here. In fact, some college lecturer who also was part of the protest, referred to the violent minority as “brilliant.” Just shows you what things have come to here. The police were unprepared and outnumbered. And of course, unarmed.

This isn’t anything to slough off as merely kids stuff. It isn’t. And to think one of the young is a white girl. Good heaven, what was she thinking? Probably an ugly fat slag no white boy would look at.

Five Muslim boys and white girl, all 12, make death threats to classmate who supported British troops

As the nation paused on Remembrance Day to honour those who had sacrificed their lives for their country, one schoolboy felt particularly proud.

Moved by their bravery, Darius Gill penned a patriotic and heartfelt tribute to the soldiers who had lost their lives at war.

But unknown to the 13-year-old schoolboy, some of his peers took exception to his comments.

A gang of 12-year-old pupils made up of five Muslim boys and one white girl, began plotting a vicious attack on Darius – whose father is Asian – for supporting British troops.

The pupils, none of whom can be named for legal reasons, have now been suspended from a school in Coventry and may be expelled after posting their chilling threats online.

One message - littered with spelling mistakes - said: ‘Fight on Monday gonna be heavy knuckle dusters nd knifes hopefully I don’t die.’

Another pupil added: ‘ill bang him ma slef am a terrorist.’

One member of the gang also posted a picture of himself holding a rifle and threatened to hijack a plane.

Other pupils - who have set up a Muslim Defence League which celebrates British deaths in Afghanistan - also added comments condemning Darius.

But fortunately, the schoolboy’s mother Clare Allington read the comments on Monday morning - the day of the promised attack - and immediately pulled her son out of school.

Yesterday, Mrs Allington, 42, a trainee teacher from Coventry, said: ‘I logged on and it broke my heart. I was reading all sorts about knuckle dusters, knives and death.

‘They were planning to attack him at school that day so I rang the school straight away.’

She added that she usually keeps an eye on her son’s posts on facebook.

‘They might just be school children but they are fanatical and dangerous. The threats have to be taken seriously.’

Even yesterday, one of the yobs, who can’t be named because of their age, bragged about being quizzed by police and continued his threats to attack Darius.

He posted: ‘IM IN TROUBLE WIV DE POLICE CUZ OF SUSSPICIAN OF THREAT TO DARIUS OVER FB U HAVE A RITE TO REMAIN SILENCE!!! (JOKES) BUT IM IN TROUBLLE WIV DE POLICE IM BANGGIN DARIUS THURSDAY NO1 JUMP IN 1 v 1.’

The abuse and threats came after Darius posted two pictures showing British troops on Armistice Day on facebook.

On November 11, he wrote: ‘RIP TO ALL THE LADS WHO NEVER MADE IT HOME.’

He was then branded ‘racist’ and two of the accused pupils began a flurry of MSN messages to each other setting out what they were going to do to Darius.

One wrote to Darius on facebook saying ‘r u being racist?’ and criticised him for failing to acknowledge the dead soldiers in the Middle East.

Darius tried to explain that the poppies honoured British troops and also said he was remembering his great-great uncle who died on the first day of the Battle of the Somme in 1916 aged just 17.

The unnamed pupil’s facebook profile is full of chilling references to Islamic fundamentalism and shows a picture of him posing with an AK47 rifle.

He also penned a terrifying poem about hijacking a plane.

On November 12, he wrote: ‘You better watch what the **** flies outta ya mouth.

‘Or I’ma hijack a plane and fly it into your house Burn your apartment with your family tied to the couch.

‘And slit your throat, so when you scream, only blood comes out.’

Principal Wendy Thomas said facebook was an increasing concern for schools.

She said: ‘Darius is the victim of bullying. All the students involved have told me they did not mean what they said but they will learn a hard lesson from this.

‘Facebook is a big concern for schools and we urge all parents to monitor what their children say on the site.

‘As soon as the school was notified about the comments on Monday we interviewed the pupils.

‘No weapons were found on any of the pupils. We notified the police and they are investigating the incident.’

The students attend the 1,250-pupil Sidney Stringer Academy in Coventry which caters for children aged 11-18. Muslim pupils make up 65 per cent of the pupils.

Mrs Allington added: ‘My son wrote supporting the British troops in Afghanistan and also said he was sad so many soldiers had died.

‘The so-called Muslim Defence League, which has been set up in the school by a number of pupils, believe that Darius should join them in hating British soldiers.

‘It’s appalling and extremely upsetting for Darius.’

British terror suspects to get up to £10million compensation. they’re brits like I’m the pope. 

The damn thing is .... most aren’t Brits at all. And that Bin Man sure as hell isn’t. OK, what if by some odd chance some of em are telling the truth?
Our folks could not have seen this coming I don’t think.  But I believe both our people on the ground need to get smarter and just disappear these sort of folks.
No record of arrests or detention.  Everything quiet. Some folks might ask questions but let em ask.  With nothing to prove there won’t be anything to answer for.
Pretty stark and pretty extreme perhaps. But then, so is the enemy we face.  Not only Brit libtards but even some conservatives here are jumping on the human rights bandwagon and wringing their collective hands and weeping crocodile tears (some are) about how mean and awful both our intel services treated these folks. For shame they say. And America’s standing and image has been badly hurt. Yeah well, I’m not too sure we need the good thoughts and gropes of those complaining fools. In fact, I’d be worried if they approved of us. It would be a sure sign we have moved even further to the left. Or they want a loan.
I think we should redesign our flag. Smack in the middle of the red and white stripes, we should put a middle finger up to the world. I think I’ve hit on something. 

Hey ... off the subject posted here but I just found out something I had not known.  It was reported in a paper today, that this country has given 5 BILLION plus
in aid to Somalia.  In dollars, that’s a hell of a lot of tribute. Oh woops. Sorry. It’s “aid” innit?

The ‘tortured’ 16: More than a dozen British terror suspects to get up to £10million compensation

Sixteen terror suspects who were allegedly tortured at the behest of the United States are being paid millions of pounds from the taxpayer in return for their silence over British involvement.

At least one former Guantanamo Bay detainee will receive more than £1million in hush money from ministers desperate to stop the cases reaching court.

One of the largest payouts will go to Binyam Mohamed, the British resident who claims MI5 and MI6 fed questions to his CIA-backed torturers.

The Government refused to confirm or deny reports that the total compensation was £5 million or £10 million.

The cash is being handed over in secret deals without any evidence being shown to the public that Britain condoned or was complicit in what happened.

In return for the cash, the detainees will drop the civil cases for damages that had threatened to lift the lid on the activities of the intelligence agencies after 9/11.

Shami Chakrabarti, director of Liberty, said: ‘It’s not very palatable but there is a price to be paid for lawlessness and torture in freedom’s name. There are torture victims who were entitled to expect protection from their country. The Government now accepts torture is never justified and we were all let down. Let’s learn the lessons and move on.’

England remembers its fallen while itself falls prey to self delusion

At the stroke of the clock on 11am every November 11th ... people all over this country stop for 2 minutes of silence in remembrance of those soldiers who fell in service to their country.  If you’re in a store for example, at exactly 11am everything will stop. People remain silent for two minutes, or most do. Out on the street it’s the same.  And this Sunday there will be services on what is called Remembrance Sunday.

There are stores and outlets everywhere that folks can buy a red paper flower, just like this one.  Some people collect donations door to door.  One of our neighbors brings around a collection box every year in which we deposit some money. We take a couple of the red poppies and they are worn by most people. Everywhere you go you will see folks wearing these.

Well now .... enter the vilest scum of the earth. The lice infested, unwashed grizzly bearded fugitives from the dark ages.  Yeah, who else.
mudslims. People who come here and insist on changing their host country to the slum and filth and ignorance of the shit hole they came from. And they also manage to turn native born mudslims to their creepy cause.  None of them really belong here, but they know how to work the system because democracy has decided it’s better to commit national suicide then lower the boom on these worthless, useless non human life forms.  Who by the way, do understand their right to demonstrate and of course they did. On Nov. 11 at 11 am where they thought up the brilliant idea of burning a giant poppy in protest of what they say is the murder of muslims in other countries.  They don’t seem to demonstrate much over the killings by the thousands of muslims by other muslims. Have you noticed that?  Not that I personally care how many of their brothers they kill.  The more the better. Anyway ... a very small group it should be said held their insulting demo ....

There is nothing more despicable than defiling the memory of our dead servicemen and women.
Why should we have to tolerate those Islamic hatemongers who disrupted yesterday’s two minutes’ silence, setting fire to a giant poppy and brandishing placards reading: ‘British soldiers burn in Hell.’

If that isn’t incitement, I don’t know what is. They looked like the same crowd demonstrating outside the Old Bailey last week when that Muslim madwoman was convicted of stabbing MP Stephen Timms.

Yet although 50 people took part in this atrocity, there were only three arrests - and judging by the pictures it was the counter-demonstrators from the so-called English Defence League who had their collars felt.

If these Muslim rabble-rousers hate this country so much, why don’t they leave and set up shop in an Islamic theocracy?
We could give them every encouragement by stopping their benefits, as a basis for negotiation.
They should all have been banged up and, if they weren’t born here (as, sadly, I suspect most them were) they should have their citizenship revoked and be put on the first plane out.

At the moment these vile jihadists are spitting in our faces and laughing at our cowardice, while abusing the freedoms countless British soldiers have died to defend.

I really don’t believe that one soldier gave up a life or limb to secure the freedoms of jihadists. The army is made up of volunteers. Who in their right mind would volunteer to risk all, to insure the free movement of scum who want to kill your family in your own country.

I haven’t been here long enough to become an expert on things Brit. But I have seen enough to believe that the left really does rule no matter who is in office. I think I’ve read and seen and heard enough to convince me that these folks will not have another Dunkirk or Trafalgar or Waterloo.
The future of this island is all behind it because there isn’t anyone around who is able to save it. Or anyone with the stones to do what desperately needs doing.
Which very simply put is ... Killing! On a very large scale.  But it will never happen.  They’ll try and educate their way out of this morass. They’ll find to their regret that it won’t be as easy as banning cigarettes.

A Christian woman has been sentenced to hang in Pakistan after being convicted of defaming the Prophet Mohammed.

Asia Bibi, a 45-year-old mother-of-five, denies blasphemy and told investigators that she was being persecuted for her faith in a country where Christians face routine harassment and discrimination.

Christian groups and human rights campaigners condemned the verdict and called for the blasphemy laws to be repealed.

Her supporters say she will now appeal against the sentence handed down in a local court in the town of Sheikhupura, near Lahore, Pakistan.

Ashiq Masih, her husband, said he had not had the heart to break the news to two of their children.

“I haven’t told two of my younger daughters about the court’s decision,” he said. “They asked me many times about their mother but I can’t get the courage to tell them that the judge has sentenced their mother to capital punishment for a crime she never committed.” Mrs Bibi has been held in prison since June last year.

The court heard she had been working as a farmhand in fields with other women, when she was asked to fetch drinking water.

Some of the other women – all Muslims – refused to drink the water as it had been brought by a Christian and was therefore “unclean”, according to Mrs Bibi’s evidence, sparking a row.

No Fatwa Needed To Kill Americans, Says Radical Yemen Cleric

Even though he is an American, a radical U.S.-born cleric says Muslims should not hesitate to kill Americans, arguing that no religious rulings are needed “to fight the devil.” Anwar al-Awlaki, wanted by both the United States and Yemen, where he is based, made the appeal in an Internet video released Monday.

In a wide-ranging 23-minute talk, the al-Qaida-linked cleric condemned Iran, Israel and the leaders of Arab nations.  He went further in regard to the people of the United States. 

The American-born Awlaki told his followers that they do not need to consult with anyone before killing Americans.  He said for Muslims it is a question of “us or them.”

Awlaki is wanted by both the U.S. and Yemen for his suspected role in terrorist attacks, including the attempted bombing of a U.S. airliner late last year.  He is also believed to have acted as an advisor to the suspect in a deadly shooting spree at a U.S. military base in Texas and the killing of a Frenchman in Yemen earlier this year. 

U.S. authorities believe he is an active member of the Yemen-based al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula.

The video message, parts of which were released last month, come days after the terrorist organization claimed responsibility for attempting to send bombs in air cargo to the United States.  The packages were intercepted by authorities tipped off by Saudi intelligence.  The terrorist group has also claimed responsibility for attacks that killed Yemeni civilians.

In the video, Awlaki also condemns Arab leaders as corrupt, including those in Yemen.

Political analyst Stephen Steinbeiser says many Yemenis, and others in the region, side with Americans against terrorists.  But the resident director of the American Institute for Yemeni Studies says the cleric may be trying to attract followers beyond his regular jihadist sympathizers.

“I think he is reaching for a broader audience and I think that when Yemenis begin to feel that someone like al-Awlaki is singling out corrupt leaders, then it becomes a much more appealing message and they many begin to listen to other types of things he is saying,” said Steinbeiser.

But such a move could strengthen the resolve of the Yemeni government in hunting him down.  The Sana’a-based Steinbeiser says many in Yemen believe the government knows where al-Awlaki is hiding or at least the general locale.  But he notes officials may be hindered by the fact the al-Awlaki family is very powerful in the clan- and tribe-dominated country. 

“There are potential repercussions politically, and potential violent repercussions if they go after al-Awlaki [as] the U.S. would like.  So the Yemeni government has to walk a bit of a fine line,” Steinbeiser said. “At the same time, I think they realize that he is an increasing threat and certainly with this latest message, it shows he is not afraid of the threats made against him, and he seems to want to escalate the situation.”

The Yemeni government has pledged to help the United States in tracking al-Awlaki down, and last week put him on trial in absentia for incitement and plotting to kill foreigners.

The United States is believed to have already put al-Awlaki on a special list of Americans who security forces are authorized to capture dead or alive.

Muslim hate preacher Abu Hamza allowed to keep British passport

Anything important happen today?

Muslim hate preacher Abu Hamza allowed to keep British passport

Hate preacher Abu Hamza has won his appeal against the Government’s attempts to strip him of his British passport, a special tribunal has ruled.

The radical cleric argued that such a move would render him “stateless” as he had already been stripped of his Egyptian citizenship.

Delivering its 12-page ruling, the Special Immigration Appeals Commission allowed his appeal.

In his ruling, Mr Justice Mitting said: “We are satisfied on balance of probabilities that if a deprivation order were to be made, the appellant (Hamza) would be made stateless.

“The conclusions which we have reached in the closed judgment supplement, but do not contradict, that conclusion.

“Accordingly, this appeal is allowed.”

Hamza, 52, was jailed for seven years in February 2006 for inciting murder and race hate.

He is in Belmarsh Prison as he challenges attempts to extradite him to the US on terror charges.

That case was delayed by the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg in July, which called for further submissions over the length of his sentence and the conditions he would experience if extradited to ADX Florence, a so-called “supermax” prison in Fremont County, Colorado.

Attempts to take his passport away were launched in 2003 but delayed by other legal actions against him.

At a three-day hearing in London last month, Hamza’s lawyers argued he has already been stripped of his Egyptian citizenship so cannot have his British passport taken too, as that would render him “stateless”.

But the Home Office said there was no documentation to prove he was no longer an Egyptian national and though he was once denied an Egyptian passport, he was later allowed one.

The commission heard Hamza may have had his Egyptian nationality revoked but the country’s government would not confirm whether he had or not.

The cleric came to Britain on a student visa and acquired a British passport through marriage.

He was denied an Egyptian passport in 1982 because he had not undertaken military service, the panel heard, but a decree in 1988 allowed him his citizenship back.

But Egyptian law expert Sabah Al-Mukhtar, appearing as a witness for Hamza’s legal team, told the commission it was possible he had been stripped of his nationality later on for other reasons.

He said by refusing Hamza a passport the Egyptian government was giving a “de facto” denial of his nationality.

James Strachan, for the Home Office, said Mr Al-Mukhtar’s interpretation was a “fundamental disagreement” with their own expert’s evidence.

A Downing Street spokeswoman said Prime Minister David Cameron was “disappointed” with the decision but that it would not affect ongoing extradition proceedings.

Poor misguided judge. A true product of the west and who can blame the man?  He’s sincere.  He just doesn’t understand that he is NOT addressing anything human.  Meanwhile, via video feed because the defendant does not recognize the jurisdiction of the Brit court, and so has refused to attend her trial, she smiles happily at him.  I haven’t a clue why a trial when she was caught red handed and then told anyone who would listen, that she wanted to kill the hated infidel. In this case a Labour Party MP who voted for the Iraq war.  As reported yesterday, she walked up to him and stabbed him a few times before being restrained and arrested.

Here’s the update.  She got life and will have to served at least 15 years. Her inspiration has been an American traitor turned islamic anti west preacher wanted by the USA.

The guy she tried kill is a member of the party out of power here, which means he leans to the left, even though he supported the war on Iraq. I wonder if he’ll eventually claim that islam is an rop. He might.

Curse the judge, shout fanatics as the Muslim girl who knifed MP smiles as she gets life

A judge was subjected to a tirade of abuse in his own courtroom yesterday as he jailed an Al Qaeda-inspired Muslim woman for attempting to assassinate an MP.
Islamist protesters harangued Mr Justice Cooke from the public gallery at the Old Bailey, shouting ‘Allahu akbar’ (‘God is great’), ‘British go to hell’ and ‘Curse the judge’.

The outbursts came as Roshonara Choudhry, 21, was sentenced to life imprisonment for stabbing former minister Stephen Timms. Choudhry smiled broadly as the judge told her: ‘You said you ruined the rest of your life. You said it was worth it. You said you wanted to be a martyr.’

Hundreds of videos inciting violence, including clips by the U.S.-born radical cleric Anwar al-Awlaki who inspired Choudhry to attempt to assassinate the MP, were removed from YouTube yesterday.

Their removal followed a private speech in the United States by security minister Baroness Neville-Jones in which she called on the White House to ‘take down this hateful material’.

Mr Timms, 55, describing the moment he was stabbed in East London in May by the smiling student, said: ‘I shouted out, “What was that for?”’
‘That was the last thing that I expected to happen and there was absolutely no explanation to me. She didn’t say a word. It was a complete bolt out of the blue.’

Question: Who’s he?
Choudhry: He’s an Islamic scholar. He lives in Yemen.

Question: Tell me your thoughts about what you’ve done.
Choudhry: I feel like I’ve ruined the rest of my life. I feel like it’s worth it because millions of Iraqis are suffering and I should do what I can to help them and not just be inactive and do nothing while they suffer.
Question: I just want to go over a little bit how your thought has gone from getting to religion to wanting some form of vengeance.
Choudhry: Because as Muslims we’re all brothers and sisters and we should all look out for each other and we shouldn’t sit back and do nothing while others suffer. We shouldn’t allow the people who oppress us to get away with it and to think that they can do whatever they want to us and we’re just gonna lie down and take it.
Question: Where did you learn that from?
Choudhry: From listening to his lectures.

al-Qaeda terrorists ‘threatened another Lockerbie’.

More of the same but getting a bit intense I think. No panic button but I sure am tired of these grizzly bearded sub human bastards.  OH, like you aren’t. But I almost feel like we’re on some kind of front line.

By now I’m certain all of you are aware and know about the latest foiled bomb plot. Explosives in printers and printer cartridges. Seems Yemen has become a hotspot for terrorist activity and training.  Yemen?  Would anyone miss it?  And Somalia? Would anyone miss it?  We might have to take a very much closer look at Pakistan as well.

My solution to both problems and no joke intended.  Doesn’t mean there won’t still be islamic terrorists. But damn fewer and an unexpected nuke attack on both places would surely reduce the problem by a hundred fold. Then in the aftermath we send in clean up units of a newly formed death head div. to mop up and rid the world of anything remaining.  Anything short of that will not work. It can’t because their numbers are growing. They have a higher birth rate, think insects. Same thing.  These are very evil life forms, many of whom really do these things only because they enjoy the exercise, and now have a religion to use as an excuse.  Join them to the many who are true believers, all of em spawning, and you see the problem.

I do not subscribe to the argument that we can not use methods that put us in their moral grouping. Why not? If we can rid the world of the scum, who’ll question the methods later?  And those that do can be sent off to places like Afghanistan (if there’s much left) to see how they’d like living in another century.

Suspect linked to al-Qaeda plane bomb plotters arrested in Britain

A member of al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula was arrested in Britain for allegedly plotting an attack in this country, the Home Secretary Theresa May has said.

The suspect was an “associate” of the terrorist group, which was linked to last week’s cargo plane bomb plot in which ink printer cartridges were loaded with enough dangerous explosive to blow up aircraft.

In her first speech on security, Mrs May warned such threats will continue against the country and that the police and security services were working to disrupt al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) operatives in this country.

Mrs May also warned that the threat of AQAP and its capability in Yemen was increasing.

Mrs May said: “An AQAP associate was arrested here earlier this year.

“He is alleged to have been planning a terrorist attack in this country. Threats such as these are likely to continue.”

During her speech, the Home Secretary also warned that Somalia will become a terror hotbed if “left to its own devices” plotting attacks on the UK.

She said: “Where necessary we will enhance our protective security measures; we will invest in conflict prevention and stopping terrorist plots overseas; we will refocus the strategy for preventing radicalisation in the UK; and we will strike a better balance between our liberties and our security.

“There is much good work under way to tackle the terrorist threat.

Not that very many people ever read this far down, but this blog was the creation of Allan Kelly and his friend Vilmar. Vilmar moved on to his own blog some time ago, and Allan ran this place alone until his sudden and unexpected death partway through 2006. We all miss him. A lot. Even though he is gone this site will always still be more than a little bit his. We who are left to carry on the BMEWS tradition owe him a great debt of gratitude, and we hope to be able to pay that back by following his last advice to us all:

1. Keep a firm grasp of Right and Wrong
2. Stay involved with government on every level and don't let those bastards get away with a thing
3. Use every legal means to defend yourself in the event of real internal trouble, and, most importantly:
4. Keep talking to each other, whether here or elsewhere

It's been a long strange trip without you Skipper, but thanks for pointing us in the right direction and giving us a swift kick in the behind to get us going. Keep lookin' down on us, will ya? Thanks.
