Get Informed

Via Theo’s, via Breitbart who wraps it in a fine “Letter To Obama” extension, go (re) read this essay on Islam from early last year at American Thinker. Mind boggling.

A Quarter BILLION Dead At The Hands Of Islam

And don’t forget to add in a quarter billion slaves, and at least a quarter billion FGM (female genital mutilations) as well.

President Obama… I realize you thought you were brave and courageous when you defamed Christianity by equating the Crusades and the Inquisition with the present-day barbarism of Islam, but I wonder if your “courage” goes so far as to blame Muslims for the Islamic conquests? Do you have the guts to tell them that in the name of Allah, they invaded nations, practiced ethnic and cultural cleansing, going so far as to erase the very history of conquered lands. Can you tell them that they changed languages and names, enslaved millions and killed an unknowable number of innocent souls simply because they worshiped God, and not “Allah?”. I think not. You know Christians will bow their heads and pray for you whereas Muslims will simply take your head and celebrate.

When one thinks of mass murder, Hitler comes to mind. If not Hitler, then Tojo, Stalin, or Mao. Credit is given to the 20th-century totalitarians as the worst species of tyranny to have ever arisen. However, the alarming truth is that Islam has killed more than any of these, and may surpass all of them combined in numbers and cruelty.

The enormity of the slaughters of the “religion of peace” are so far beyond comprehension that even honest historians overlook the scale. When one looks beyond our myopic focus, Islam is the greatest killing machine in the history of mankind, bar none.

And it is not a misappropriation of a peaceful religion by fanatics. This is exactly what islam is, always was, and always shall be. It is a death cult. Period. An inflexible, pitiless, compassion free murder machine bent on world domination.

original essay at American Thinker

“Letter to Obama” extension to the essay at Breitbart.

You need to read these. Really. Sure, you know it already. Me too. You need to read them anyway. 10 minutes, tops. More like 5.

Another Chewbacca Defense Strategy From Obama

"Why is a Wookie living on Endor? It don’t make sense! You must acquit!” cult. ref

E V I A N

White House: Jobs Program Will Defeat ISIS

What the West really needs to take on the Islamic State is ... a jobs program.

That’s what a top State Department spokeswoman suggested when asked in a TV interview Monday night about what the U.S.-led coalition is doing to stop the slaughter of civilians by Islamic State militants across the region.

“We’re killing a lot of them, and we’re going to keep killing more of them. ... But we cannot win this war by killing them,” department spokeswoman Marie Harf said on MSNBC’s “Hardball.” “We need ... to go after the root causes that leads people to join these groups, whether it’s lack of opportunity for jobs, whether --”

At that point, Harf was interrupted by host Chris Matthews, who pointed out, “There’s always going to be poor people. There’s always going to be poor Muslims.”

Harf continued to argue that the U.S. should work with other countries to “help improve their governance” and “help them build their economies so they can have job opportunities for these people.”

She acknowledged there’s “no easy solution” and said the U.S. would still take out ISIS leaders. But Harf said: “If we can help countries work at the root causes of this—what makes these 17-year-old kids pick up an AK-47 instead of trying to start a business?”

“The White House had to seem like it was doing something,” said Jonah Goldberg, a National Review editor and conservative columnist, while claiming the summit won’t achieve much.

Senior administration officials, though, defended the conference, and their description of it, on a call with reporters.

Asked whether Islamic extremists are in fact the focus of the summit, one official said extremism has spanned “many decades” and taken on “many forms,” but they recognize that those launching recent attacks “are calling themselves Muslims.”

“You can call them what you want. We’re calling them terrorists,” the official said.

Terrorists? Well, that’s a tiny step forward. Of course, those launching attacks for the past 1300 years worth of “many decades” or so have been also calling themselves Muslims, regardless of which of “many forms” they chose. Somehow they’ve always had the idea that this is how they’re supposed to behave. Good thing we now have Obama around to tell them otherwise. That’ll work.

And let’s not even look at the obvious, well researched fact, that many who answer the call of jihad are from the well educated, more financially comfortable layers of society. The kind who can find decent jobs if they want them. So let’s treat this bunch - they’re kinda brown, right? - so let’s treat them the same way we treat our own black male youth, as if they were just suburban white boys with a heavy tan, looking for a leg up with employment, a foot in the door so they could start climbing that old ladder of success. Because that’s worked so well so far, hasn’t it? (NOT). Hey, maybe Obama can solve the jihad thing by passing out EBTs and Obamaphones! Or some cold Colt 45 and some fine kind blunts? Works every time, yo!

I’d call him naive, but since pResident Narcissus D. Selfie spends so much time gazing in the mirror*, I’ll just write it as “evian” so he can read the reflection. And keep my fingers crossed he doesn’t think it’s a bottle of fwench water.

( * Until photo events of this week, I didn’t even know there was such a thing as a “selfie stick”. Did you? How thrilling to see that Fearless Reader has at least one and is an adept. )

drew got the beauty today …. i present the beast(s). but i live to fight another day

I came upon some really stunning eye candy this morning, and thought I should post it. Good way to start the day.

However, I see Drew beat me to a heart stopping redhead.  Not wanting to duplicate things, I guess it was my misfortune and yours as well, as I was left with the ultimate beast to Drew’s beauty.
And why not?

Contrast. Right?

Here are examples of just how far into the delusional world feminists have led women.
Where else would these beastly examples buy the idea that they too are attractive?

I will not post all the photos. In fact, even one may be far to gross and vomit inducing for a BMEWS page.

‘Men don’t fancy skinny girls, they like an hourglass figure’: Woman with world’s largest bottom which is 8ft around says being fat is fabulous

Mikel Ruffinelli, 39, is the owner of the world’s largest backside
Says she loves her 8ft bottom - and so do the majority of men
Appears on new documentary looking at lifestyles of supersized women
Claudia Floraunce, a plus-size model from Austria, also appears

She says it is time to redefine the criteria for beauty

Mrs Ruffinelli says society should work with her and make things bigger

The following photo was cropped ... it is not the worst of the lot you will see at the link.

These disgusting examples of womanhood claim they are proud. They are mad as well as delusional, and the idea that beauty should be redefined to fit this image beyond simply wrong.

Click the hog in the photo for the grotesque examples of the new beauty.

Caution ... uv been warned.

Bundle Up

There’s just something special about girls in parkas. It’s like they’re wearing this extra aura or something. A target? I dunno. But it’s like some kind of condensed attractiveness, like some kind of furry porthole into a better realm. Plus the ears. The ear thing really works. And don’t go there with that “furry porthole” thing, Sigmund. Sometimes a parka is just a parka, m’kay??

they will not let me sleep

I went out of my way to get up earlier and stay up later, and to minimize fluid intake after 6pm, so that I could hopefully sleep through the night.

But oh no. The shovel brigade comes through at around 2:30am. Then they’re back at 4am, waking the both of us up. WTF?

So I look outside, and it’s snowing. Again. Like a bitch. Looks like several inches of fresh white stuff. Granted, at this point it’s hard to tell. What’s another inch? Or 3? Or 5? Welcome to the party comrades!

efffuck, why is there no damn bandwidth at 4am? It’s not like there’s anyone else on or anything? Why is the ‘net so damn slow?

Fuggit. Back to bed. Found my coupon for bagels in case I get up in the real morning. I was trying for that. None of this Farmer Bob stuff ... yay for Farmer Bob, thanks and all, but I don’t have no cows. Don’t need to get up at this hour.

the washing machine

Got a ride from a friend into Southampton early today, the purpose of which was to buy a new washing machine.
Now you might think that should be a pretty straightforward sort of thing.  I had done quite a bit of research, studied the Brit version of Consumer Reports, which is called, Which?.

There is new construction everywhere, and even here on our very own doorstep work has begun on the total rape destruction of part of our green belt. I refer to a place called Barton Farm, and invite you to Google same to see what is being ruined in the name of progress for this ancient cathedral city.  2000 plus new homes some of which of course will be low income.  This project is the kick in the balls compliments of the former leftist govt. to the perceived wealthy class who are supposed to all be living in this area.  OK, some wealthy do live here. Meanwhile, 9 more houses are planned for our small street where two houses now stand, and just up the road from us a family who have land and just happen to also be in the building trade, have cut down trees they would never have gotten permission for but did so over time and on the quiet, and the land is being planned to accommodate 45 new homes.  Some of which, by way of a bribe to the city, will be low income.

So in addition to my fruitless search for the perfect washer, I now am on the lookout for a quiet and secluded cave with electric and pc hookup.

Anyway, traffic was touch and go and mostly stop til we got onto the freeway.

Managed the roadworks and one ways and confusion of our destination city and got parking in the covered lot on the 2nd floor, went into the fabulous John Lewis store where we had to walk thru the lighting dept. on our way to my quest for a washing machine.  I can’t pass lamps and lights without stopping and looking, especially since two of our old ones could do with replacing.  Not that they aren’t still serviceable. I’m just tired of them and one just doesn’t look very well at all.  However ..... every damn bulb and every damn lampshade is rated for 60 watts. And no, I can’t use two floor lamps in the intended space but never mind.  It just pisses me off that the EU (may they all rot in hell) is responsible for this. But there’s more than that which has me glued to the ceiling.

When we got to the dept. that sells the washers, I couldn’t find one machine that had everything I wanted on one machine.
Sure, if I had the money and the room, I suppose I could have bought 10 washers and between them all I’d have everything, which actually doesn’t amount to a whole lot.  Why can’t all the doors on a washer open wide and flush to the machine?  Why can’t the damn locked door have an over ride so you do not have to wait a full 2 or more minutes before you can open it? Why on a 15 or 30 minute quick wash cycle, can’t you set the spin cycle past 800?  Why can’t the manufacturer let me think for myself?  I guess EU mandates, and for example.

Talking to a salesman I lamented the fact that I didn’t have the room for a top loader.
Oh, can’t sell top loaders to anyone but commercial buyers, as mandated by the EU recently, so I was informed by a Maytag outlet. They are larger and hold more water. Yeah .... that’s the idea damn it.

Well I still don’t have a washer but am close to one choice.  There are actually machines rated well in almost every category except, a few that got panned because they do not rinse well.  Or wash well to begin with.  Gone are the days of trust in a certain make you’ve used successfully in the past and so try to go back to what you are familiar with that always worked.

You watch ... I’ll bet before long even in the USA a top loader will only be available if you buy from private parties, because as I have read not too long ago, people in the current administration are advocating closer ties with the EU. And coincidentally, I heard more of that on the radio last night.

The expression “welcome to the club” has never had such an unwelcome taste.

Hang on, one more thing.

The car park isn’t free but we couldn’t find the pay box or whatever they are called. You know, slip ticket in slot and it tells you what you need to pay, take ticked back after payment and then drive to exit and slip paid ticket into another slot and up goes the gate allowing you to pass.
Well, a notice informed us that the pay box was on the fourth and 8th floors.  God forbid they should have one on each level. But okay. Went up to the 4th floor, paid £6 which in American speak is, at today’s exchange rate, $9.21.

Got back in car and went to exit with paid ticket.

And the gate was wide open.  And stayed that way cos it was we discovered looking behind us, broken.

Just like my poor heart because I can’t get an old fashioned American washing machine.

Another asp arises from the sands UPDATE, BBC News

ISIS in Libya? Thanks Obama!

image

ISIS released video showing 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians beheaded in Libya.

CAIRO (Reuters) - Islamic State released a video on Sunday that appeared to show the beheadings of 21 Egyptian Christians in Libya and President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi warned that his country would respond to the deaths as it saw fit.

Speaking on national television hours after the release of the video, Sisi said Cairo would choose the “necessary means and timing to avenge the criminal killings”.

UPDATE:

Egypt has launched air strikes in Libya. That’s all I have for now.  Source, BBC radio.

Egypt’s state news agency MENA quoted the spokesman for the Coptic Church as confirming that 21 Egyptian Christians believed to be held by Islamic State were dead.

The beheadings could stiffen Sisi’s resolve in dealing with security threats from militants thriving in neighboring Libya’s chaos who want to topple his U.S.-backed government.

Egypt has denied reports in the past that it had taken part, along with its close ally the United Arab Emirates, in air strikes against militants based in Libya.

Militants based in Libya have made contact with Sinai Province, a group operating from Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula that has changed its name from Ansar Beyt al-Maqdis and pledged allegiance to Islamic State.

The group has killed hundreds of Egyptian soldiers and police since the army toppled Islamist president Mohamed Mursi in 2013 after mass protests against his rule.

So Egypt needs to make a two pronged attack.

One, go north and turn right, and hammer these Sinai Province people against the Israeli/Jordanian border. Squash them like roaches.

Two, go north and turn left, and kick the crap out of everyone you find in Libya. The root is probably still well marked since the 14th Dynasty; old Pharaoh used to play whack-a-mole in Libya all the time, when he wasn’t busy keeping Nubia in line.

Good thing Egypt has a huge population with nothing else to do other than fight.

The killings raise the possibility that the Islamic militant group — which controls about a third of Syria and Iraq in a self-declared caliphate — has established a direct affiliate less than 500 miles (800 kilometers) from the southern tip of Italy. One of the militants in the video makes direct reference to that possibility, saying the group now plans to “conquer Rome.”
...
The video’s makers identified themselves as the Tripoli Province of the Islamic State group. A still photo, apparently taken from the video, was published last week in the Islamic State group’s Dabiq online magazine — indicating a direct connection between the Libyan militants and the main group.

The video, released Sunday night, depicts several men in orange jumpsuits being led along a beach, each accompanied by a masked militant. The men are made to kneel and one militant, dressed differently that the others, addresses the camera in North American-accented English.

“All crusaders: safety for you will be only wishes, especially if you are fighting us all together. Therefore we will fight you all together,” he said. “The sea you have hidden Sheikh Osama Bin Laden’s body in, we swear to Allah we will mix it with your blood.”

The men are then laid face-down and simultaneously beheaded.

The militant speaker then pointed northward across the red-stained waves and said, “We will conquer Rome, by Allah’s permission.”

I’m sure the Italians loved hearing that one. Maybe Italy would be willing to play anvil to Egypt’s western hammer. And why not, given this news that ISIS is indeed in Libya, which means it’s highly likely that they are in Tunisia as well, well, isn’t that all the more reason to stop accepting boatloads of “refugees” from there? Turn them back, or just look the other way and let them sink at sea.

in the heat of the night

I’m getting tired of this getting up in the middle of the night to have a pee and a glass of something. After a certain age it becomes a way of life, I know. And usually I go right back to sleep. But the past few nights I’ve been so dried out. So tonight I made a nice gardening mug full of PG Tips Rich One (thank you Peiper!) to ward away the cold. That and the little electric heater under my PC desk. Mmmmm, toasty. Then I went online and took a look at the weather. Big mistake.

It’s one right now, with a wind chill of -17. One?? Minus seventeen!?!? Crivens. And this is the hot part of the night? Double crivens. There are going to be some really embarrassed brass monkeys around here.

while danes hedge and say cap, outspoken austrians say muslims don’t belong in country

Looks like Austrians have gone a verbal step further than the Danes. Well good for them.
Of course the MSM will bleat about racism and the rise of neo-nazis blah, blah.

Austrians Say Islam Does Not Belong in Their Nation:

image

by Oliver Lane9 Feb

A survey of social attitudes in Austria has revealed the vast majority of Austrians don’t believe Islam belongs in their country, with almost half going further and saying the religion should “definitely not” have a home there.

In the survey, 69 percent of those polled said they did not believe Islam belonged in Austria, a strong rise on previous polls taken before the Charlie Hebdo attacks made earlier in the year, reports TheLocal.at. Even more than that – around three quarters – thought if a citizen left Austria to fight for extremist groups such as the Islamic State, they should have their citizenship withdrawn completely.

Of the nearly seven in ten people who believed Islam didn’t belong in Austria, a sizeable minority went even further, with 42 percent of those polled saying there should “definitely” be no Islam in the country. A similar proportion of people felt Islam was a “threat” to Austria.

Although Austria was host to a large pro-Islam demonstration yesterday who marched against the German anti-Islamification group PEGIDA, it appears they represent a small, yet noisy minority. The poll found only seven percent agreed that “Islam is part of Austria”, and five percent said that those who fight for the Islamic state should keep their passports. The numbers are only slightly higher than the total proportion of Muslims who actually live in the country, which runs at 4.2 percent.

Breitbart London reported last year that Austria, and capital city Vienna in particular, had become a major European hub for Islamic terrorism, and an important stopping-off point for jihadists travelling from Western Europe to join the Islamic State. In an attempt to curb the rapid radicalisation of Austrian youth, the police raided a number of mosques and prayer rooms in November in a large operation involving 500 police officers and leading to 13 arrests.

Reports at the time said a “Vienna-based Serbian preacher” was the main target of the operation, with “terrorist propaganda” and money being recovered by police.

ok, here’s your pop quiz for the morning. guess the group the attacker belongs to

Whoops. I guess I had it all wrong.
I thought the idea of one law for one group and another law for another group was nowadays, passe.

Guess not, but not surprised either.

Just another good reason for going armed.

We can all guess who would have been on hand had the attacker been the wrong color.
Well, at least there won’t be any unruly protests by anti fascists and al sharpton. I guess that’s something.

Teenager who fractured 19-year-old’s skull with a single punch after victim asked him for a light in McDonald’s is SPARED prison

Caine Inyanga, 19, admitted grievous bodily harm and common assault
Punched teen after he asked for a light in McDonald’s, Middlesbrough
Adam Turner, 19, suffered fractured skull and tinnitus after attack
Inyanga given 16-month prison sentence suspended for 18 months
Also made subject of curfew, ordered to complete unpaid work and pay compensation

By Sam Matthew for MailOnline

A promising university student fractured a 19-year-old’s skull with a single punch after the victim asked him if he had a cigarette lighter in a McDonald’s restaurant, a court heard.

Caine Inyanga, 19, was spared jail after he floored Adam Turner in the violent early morning attack that left the tool maker unconscious on the ground.

Turner, also aged 19, approached Inyanga in the early hours of the morning in McDonald’s in Middlesbrough, Teesside, and asked if he had a cigarette lighter.

After receiving no response from the chemical engineering student the victim turned to Inyanga’s female companion and asked the same question.

Inyanga, who had been drinking and taking drugs, demanded Mr Turner and his friend ‘get outside now,’ said prosecutor Emma Atkinson.

The pair made it clear they did not want to fight, but he punched both of them, Teesside Crown Court heard.

Poll: 50% in Denmark Want Limit on Muslims, Immigration. IT OUGHT TO BE ZERO

More and more ppl throughout European have woken up, finally, and making an attempt to throw off the chains of forced multi culture and diversity through the browbeating of enforced political correctness.

Well, they are going to find themselves a bit too late to stem the islamic tide and eventual takeover of all of Europe.
The only chance they have now that it’s gone this far, with be through violence and the retaking of their governments, the disposal of the pc leftists who have brought them to this pass. Do not look for it to happen.  There are not organized as is the left, they still cling to this ridiculous notion that the courts are their friends and that in time people can be reasoned with.
They are also for the most part, at war with themselves as to methods.  Many fear the violence that will be natural to their self survival as a nation.

So then .... don’t look for this to be a start of a new revolution. Not yet anyway.

Poll: 50% in Denmark Want Limit on Muslims, Immigration

By Bruce Wright

One in two Danish citizens favor a cap on the number of Muslims permitted to live in Denmark, a YouGov poll indicates. The poll, which was conducted for the Danish publication Metroxpress, specifically targeted immigration from non-Western countries and also found one in four Danes do not want the country’s population to be more than 5 percent Muslim.

Martin Henriksen, a spokesperson for Danish People’s Party, which is considered an anti-immigration group, told Metroxpress the poll is a reflection of the country’s overall concern over welcoming foreign groups to come and live to Denmark, according to the Local, a Danish publication. “I see the results as a sign that Danes have a commonsense outlook and big worries about what is happening with our country and the consequences of mass immigration,” Henriksen said.

The Assyrian International News Agency reported Karina Lorentzen, immigration spokesperson for the Socialist Peoples Party, disagreed with Henriksen’s sentiment. “You should not judge people on religion or skin color. It’s about respecting the law, our democracy and the values of gender equality,” Lorentzen said. One should not place importance on whether you believe in Jesus or in Allah.”

Forty-two percent of Danes who responded to the poll are not in favor of setting a limit on the number of Muslims who come to the country, agreeing with Lorentzen that religion is a private matter. The Local reported Muslims currently make up less than 5 percent of Denmark’s population. Germany and France have the largest Muslim populations in Europe.  The poll surveyed 1,027 Danish citizens between the ages of 18 and 74 and was conducted from Jan. 23-25. The poll’s margin of error was not provided.

The poll’s results come amid an apparent anti-Muslim movement that is growing across Europe, partially as a response to last month’s attack on the Charlie Hebdo satirical magazine’s staff in Paris in which radical Muslims killed 12 people and injured 11.
