terror on tunisia beach and hotel resorts

Is this making any news in US yet?

Pretty bad stuff.  37 reported dead, another 36 injured.

In France there was an attack against an American owned factory as I understand it. One person was beheaded and the head hung on a fence.

Meanwhile .... somewhere else and forgive me if I forgot which country, cos I heard only a brief report on the radio last night, but it’s in the west and it figures because.  A school head somewhere has asked students to respect the muslim students during ramadumb, by not eating in front of muzzies or doing too much of the normal things so as not to tempt or upset muzzie sensibilities.
I guess that’s one way to confront the bastards. Roll over and make nice.  May they’ll remember the kindness and kill us quicker.

I suppose by now you are all aware of the caged drownings. Be-headings weren’t making the front page anymore so the scum have upped the terror ante.

English boy, 16, survived after seeing his parents and grandmother killed

Another Brit left fighting for his life after being shot four times in stomach

The final moments of a machine gun-wielding terrorist who caused havoc on a beach in Tunisia today have been captured on camera.

AK47 in hand, the man prowls the streets of Sousse - the popular resort town where he killed at least 37 and injured another 36 having opened fire on a beach packed with holiday makers.

A 16-year-old British boy reportedly saw his parents and grandmother slaughtered by the gunman and possible accomplices who opened fire on innocent sunbathers on a beach in Tunisia.

The boy is being treated for his injuries in hospital, according to a report by a Tunisian radio station.

Staff at the Clinic Les Oliviers in Sousse where many of the injured have been taken said they were treating 13 British nationals.

The massacre took place at about the same time as the bombing of a Shi’ite mosque in Kuwait, where 25 worshippers were killed, and another attack on a United States-owned factory in France in which a man was beheaded.

The violence comes just days after ISIS urged its fanatic followers to ‘make Ramadan a month of calamities’ and rise up against the ‘non-believers’.

Another Briton, Matthew James, 30, from Cardiff, is fighting for his life after being shot four times in the stomach, his father-in law William Wilson told MailOnline.

Olivia Leathley, a chef from Manchester, said she spoke to Mr James’s fiance, Saera Wilson, who said there was blood everywhere and told how she saw her husband’s eyes roll to the back of his head.

Mrs James was then pulled off the beach by hotel staff and later accompanied her husband to hospital.

Miss Leathley said she and her boyfriend, Mike Jones, did not go to the beach as planned as she was charging her phone so she could read a new audio book.

Having investigated the sound of gunshots at her hotel, she and her boyfriend went downstairs.

She told MailOnline: ‘We then heard a shot from inside the hotel. Somebody just shouted ‘run!’ so we sprinted off in all directions.

‘The machine gun fire was so close, it sounded like it was right behind us… I was then on the phone to my dad, Glenn, screaming at the top of my lungs and telling him “I love you, I love you”.

‘My dad was saying ‘I love you’ and shouting prayers down the phone, begging ‘Lord, protect them’.

‘We eventually found an office building and hid in a room. As soon as I got somewhere safe, I threw up.’

Other victims who died included an Irish woman, Tunisians, Germans and Belgians.

Not that very many people ever read this far down, but this blog was the creation of Allan Kelly and his friend Vilmar. Vilmar moved on to his own blog some time ago, and Allan ran this place alone until his sudden and unexpected death partway through 2006. We all miss him. A lot. Even though he is gone this site will always still be more than a little bit his. We who are left to carry on the BMEWS tradition owe him a great debt of gratitude, and we hope to be able to pay that back by following his last advice to us all:
  1. Keep a firm grasp of Right and Wrong
  2. Stay involved with government on every level and don't let those bastards get away with a thing
  3. Use every legal means to defend yourself in the event of real internal trouble, and, most importantly:
  4. Keep talking to each other, whether here or elsewhere
It's been a long strange trip without you Skipper, but thanks for pointing us in the right direction and giving us a swift kick in the behind to get us going. Keep lookin' down on us, will ya? Thanks.

Oh, and here's some kind of visitor flag counter thingy. Hey, all the cool blogs have one, so I should too. The Visitors Online thingy up at the top doesn't count anything, but it looks neat. It had better, since I paid actual money for it.
