Show Me The Money

Greedy, fucking, hypocritical bastards will one day rule the earth! No, I don’t mean OPEC or Microsoft. I’m talking about the thousands of idiotarian fucktards and their lawyers who live right next door to you. They’re all around us, just looking for a chance to sue. We need to just go ahead and change the name of this country to “A Country Named Sue” (with apologies to Johnny Cash). As evidence I present the following two stories about the richest company in the world ....

Wal-Mart Sued Over Evanescence Lyrics .... Some foron buys a CD in Wal-Mart. One of the songs has the “F-Word” in it. Aforementioned foron sues Wal-Mart. Lawyers make lots of money. Foron gets to brag to neighbors. The price of shampoo at Wal-Mart goes up two cents to compensate for legal costs. Get the picture?

The complaint, filed Thursday in Washington County Circuit Court, seeks an order requiring Wal-Mart to either censor or remove the music from its Maryland stores. It also seeks damages of up to $74,500 for each of the thousands of people who bought the music at Wal-Marts in Maryland.

“I don’t want any other families to get this, expecting it to be clean. It needs to be removed from the shelves to prevent other children from hearing it,” said plaintiff Trevin Skeens of Brownsville.

Skeens said he and his wife, Melanie, let their daughter buy the music for her 13th birthday and were shocked when they played it in their car while driving home.

Is it any coincidence that the little mom and pop store in your town gets sued about once every hundred years but Wal Mart gets sued EVERY TWO FUCKING HOURS? No coincidence actually. Mom and pop have no big purses and aren’t worth suing. Wal-Mart, however ....

Wal-Mart is a legend in American business, a 39-year-old retail dynamo that trails only ExxonMobil in annual revenue. But in America’s courtrooms, Wal-Mart has another distinction: As the company’s sales have soared, analysts say, it appears to have become the nation’s most popular private-sector target for lawsuits.

By its own count, Wal-Mart was sued 4,851 times last year — or nearly once every two hours, every day of the year. Juries decide a case in which Wal-Mart is a defendant about six times every business day, usually in favor of the Bentonville, Ark., retail giant. Wal-Mart lawyers list about 9,400 open cases.

Why do trial lawyers and liberal forons go after Wal-Mart?

1- Wal-Mart hires all those old folks and teenagers who would otherwise be sitting around living off the welfare system or their parents.
2- Wal-Mart refuses to allow unions into its stores.
3- Wal-Mart is a gigantic sucess story because of cheap prices, friendly service and decent products.

All of the above is why I shop at Wal-Mart all the time .... and it’s also why the legal profession should be outlawed (besides the fact that the legal profession is so damned full of outlaws).

Oh, and one other thing .... the New York Times (the Liberal Rag Of Record) somehow manages to publish an article or editorial attacking Wal-Mart EVERY SINGLE DAY! Don’t believe me? Google it and see for yourself. Try this search “WalMart NY Times”. Surprise! 391,000 hits.

We who are left to carry on the BMEWS tradition owe him a great debt of gratitude, and we hope to be able to pay that back by following his last advice to us all:

3. Use every legal means to defend yourself in the event of real internal trouble, and, most importantly:

It's been a long strange trip without you Skipper, but thanks for pointing us in the right direction and giving us a swift kick in the behind to get us going. Keep lookin' down on us, will ya? Thanks.
