Police raid Boston home linked to burned Saudi student .

It’s still fairly early in places back home, but late in the afternoon here in he UK.
So, this is what came across my screen a few minutes ago. Which you may have seen already.

What a totally pointless outrage.  But what will make it worse is if they do manage to nail the right guys, and even if there is no possible doubt about guilt, the defense lawyers will be out in force spewing words of “rights” and things like,” lets not jump to wrong conclusions.” (OJ anyone?)

Then of course the usual delay after delay and all the fancy footwork as lawyers “act” out their game because everyone has a right to a defense.  Oh, and wanna bet suspects will be referred to as Mister.  Gotta show respect less one be accused of bias.

Detectives last night raided a home in Boston in connection with the explosions at yesterday’s marathon which killed three and injured more than 150.

Authorities are still unsure who was behind the blasts - which have been described as small, home-made devices - but have a number of leads which they are following.

Agents, including the FBI and bomb disposal officers, swooped on an apartment in the suburbs of the city after a man, said to be of Saudi origin, was arrested at the scene..

The 20-year-old suspect is under police guard in hospital, where he is being treated for burns and shrapnel wounds to his legs, after he was tackled to the ground by a civilian who believed he was acting suspiciously.

Police had said earlier on Monday that they were searching for a ‘dark-skinned or black male’ wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and a backpack in connection with the twin explosions.

Not that very many people ever read this far down, but this blog was the creation of Allan Kelly and his friend Vilmar.
