Law and Disorder …. ho-hum. Nothin’ new so you may not want to bother. But do it anyway.
I have to shut down in a minute or two. Have some things need seeing to. However, I really did wanna find something newsy. Something of possible interest.
Yawn ... but so far all I could find on this fine Spring day in England was more of the same. You know. Killing. Well, I suppose that’s interesting to some.
Thing is ... there seems to be so much it’s getting to be ,,,, well, not news anymore.
So, this poor guy, a security guard (unarmed) is knifed to death in broad daylight in from of tons of witnesses.

Social workers failed to act on warnings about the mental health of a young mother who stabbed her daughter to death, an Old Bailey judge has said.Galtricia Ntsimbi, 23, knifed two-year-old Trycia Balhous five times before turning the blade on herself, days after she was cleared by mental health workers.

Have you ever noticed how often these mental health (?) folks get it wrong? Or is just meself?
Then there’s another story I won’t even link, kid gets wasted day after sweet 16 bday.
The Times of London reports in todays paper that a fued between neighbors has resulted in the killing of one. Stabbed.
What I found of some interest tho, was the following story, and this on top of reports today about the rise in knife crimes and the number of killings by same since the start of the year. But it’s really encouraging to notice that the authorities are now taking note and getting on top of things. LOL
Knife offenders may get off with just a fine

Last Updated: 2:42AM BST 13/05/2008Criminals convicted of carrying knives are likely to escape jail under sentencing guidelines issued on Monday.
Magistrates have been told that the “starting point” for sentencing many offenders caught with knives should be a community order.
Some may be let off with a fine and even carrying a knife in school may not result in a custodial sentence.
The guidelines come four months after Gordon Brown promised a “zero tolerance” approach to knife crime.
The Sentencing Guidelines Council issued advice to magistrates on how to deal with a range of offences.
When a weapon has not been used to threaten or cause fear, JPs should start from the assumption that the offender will receive a “high-level community order”.
Sentences for such offences can be a fine roughly equivalent to 10 days of an offender’s earnings. The most severe penalty would be a 12-week custodial sentence.
At least 13 teenagers have been stabbed to death in London alone so far this year, and the Government has promised tough action in response.
(that’s just teens. The numbers are higher taking adults into account)
Nick Herbert, the shadow justice secretary, said the guidelines undermined Mr Brown’s pledges.He said: “People will be concerned that despite the promise to crack down on gun and knife crime, offenders may receive a weak community sentence or even a fine.”
