help a Mac brother out
Reader can’t make the “more” link work on BMEWS. Not being a Mac user, my suggestions don’t help. Any ideas, all you Mac-daddys?
My newest suggestion is to make sure your browser can run Javascripts, and that Java is running! I know there was this thing a couple month ago, with people shutting off Java for some reason or other.

“I have never been able to open any of the below the fold things on your page- When I click on them as links nothing happens. If I click on them and direct the link to be opened in a new tab or window it just reloads the page.
I have a Mac and use ICab 2.99 most of the time, I tried but do not like 3.01 I also have but do not use a lot Classilla. They do not make Firefox, Chrome or Safari for my computer to the best of my knowledge- IE is a microsoft program and I do not have any of those on my computer. I do not have any ad blockers and I do not have any script.

He did not say if the “more” link worked on other web pages or not. All mine does, and it’s the thing on a large post that says “See more below the fold” as if you’re reading a newspaper”, is to reload the page but to show the full post, instead of just the first bunch of lines.
I had suggested checking his browser settings, and checking his ad blocker settings, to make sure that a web page had the ability to open a new page or to refresh the main page on demand. I figured that would do it. Guess not.
So, any good ideas? Has anyone else had this issue before?? I remember that some people had problems with pictures in posts hiding some of the text, in the past. I’m pretty sure I’ve fixed that. And there was a problem with the log-in once. And some folks have a bit of a problem with the registration concept sometimes (it isn’t a link, you actually sit down and write me an email. Give user name, screen name, password, and I register you). So problems do occur here once in a while, and once in a while I have to reach out to the members and ask for their help.
